Had two crappy experiences at this store today. First I went to purchase some vitamins at which time I also purchased some "Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice." Before I could check out, one of two open registers turned their service light off, indicating they were closed. The whole line jumped to the "open" Line. As we all waited, the line that had it's light off continued to serve customers. So some of us had to wait through a huge line while others skipped through the one that appeared to be closed.
I left the store and sampled the "Grapefruit Juice." It was horrible, almost stale. I knew I couldn't return it since I had opened it. I continued my shopping elsewhere and found the vitamins that I actually wanted more than the ones that I had purchased at the Dollar Tree.
A few hours later I returned to the Dollar Tree to exchange the vitamins for something else. When I got to the register the cashier twisted the top off too the side and popped the seal on the bottle. He then told me that it had been opened. The bottle had never left my side all day, and I never so much as twisted the cap , let alone opened it. I told him that I never opened it and it must have been opened in the store before I purchased it. He responded by saying " You don't need an attitude." I took the bottle and left and promptly threw it away, not knowing who opened it or whether it was tampered with.

Read moreI came in on February 12 2024 8am to get decorations for my nursing home to have a Mardi Gras party and the next day Valentine’s Day party. I had a very good experience until when I checked out the cashier check me out for balloons Told me to get them because she had a long line and when I went over to get my balloons, one of the other workers she happened to be African-American started screaming at me that I need to read. I shouldn’t be touching the balloons and I was explaining to her that I already paid for my balloons. The cashier asked me to grab my balloons cause she’s busy and she told me no I need to wait and not to rush her the supervisor then came out because she heard the Commotion. I asked this lady for her name she told me to mind my business she would not give me her name I asked the supervisor for the ladies name. She told me her name was Kimberly, but I don’t believe she gave me the correct name. I asked the supervisor for her name she said, cece I still don’t think that’s their names. I was highly offended because I was being yelled at by someone who works at a store that’s supposed to be helping me, and instead of the supervisor dEscalating the situation. Read moreI actually really like this store but the workers are very snotty. It was only my 2nd time i had shopped in this store. This man left his bike in the store and was told nothing until he had brought his items and appear to be leaving the store.. Now i totally understand the rules but how they handled the situation was uncalled for...The lady that was checking him out. Politely told him that next time to leave his bike outside the door but then the lady that was checking me out started yelling at him to leave his bike outside and in a very unfriendly tone. He asked her why did she felt the need to yell it at me??? He asked serveral times but she did not reply then another customer gets involved and said she's busy maybe thats why she's not answering you... Instead of diffusing the situation she let the two carry on a angry conversation back and forth between two registers.. The man was already told once. im not sure why the lady had to be so rude to him... He obviously was unaware that he had done anything wrong after wandering the store picking out items to buy... And then paid and was yelled at after exiting the store... Bad customer service... ...
