LOVE LOVE LOVE the artwork, the artist, and the zen ambiance of the gallery! It's a MUST see! Krista's unique style of painting using only a pallet knife brings SO much LIFE to her work! When you go in and see these masterpieces in person, look at some of the chunky strokes of the ocean waves and you'll see what I mean!

I'm THRILLED to be on her long list of collectors and proud to say I own 3 of her STUNNING pieces. I first learned of Krista and her artist mom Kathy Schumacher when I was researching the artists attending the Liberty Station Art Walk a few years back. Besides falling in love with their separate works online, I thought it was the coolest thing Kathy taught Krista and they continue to work together and even do a yearly mother-daughter collaboration! I am a proud collector or Kathy's GORGEOUS work too!

It's no surprise the gallery (set in beautiful La Jolla) transitioned from a pop-up to a permanent establishment as paintings were FLYING off the walls at the grand opening and demand just continues to increase. This BOOMING success couldn't happen to a better person. Krista is one of the most beautiful souls, bubbling with positive energy, and very vocal of her gratitude for her collectors and all those who support her.

I adore Krista Schumacher’s art, all of it, and I especially love my piece. When I first saw her work, I knew it would be a perfect centerpiece for my ocean-view La Jolla condo.

I cannot rave loudly enough about Krista’s commissioning process. She is not only an artist, she is an organized and professional businesswoman.

We began the process with Krista visiting my home to discuss what I wanted and where it would be displayed. I gave her pictures of Bird Rock, for which my section of town is named and a view I walk past daily. We discussed color and size. She shared her price list and I paid half. Krista explained she had other work due and gave me an approximate completion date.

The next step: Krista emailed me 3 mock-ups and I selected “mine.” After she painted it, I paid the other half, the work dried and was beautifully framed.

The Drysdale Team had the pleasure of sponsoring her gallery for September's First Friday event. This also happened to be her 1 Year Anniversary! It is hard to believe she has only had her physical location for 12 short months. Krista is very active in the San Diego community and you can often find her at many of the local events taking place around the city.
