The Boat: It was my wife’s dream to have a her 30th birthday party on a Yacht. We searched the internet up and down for something that would be modern, classy, and beautiful. Almost everything we saw was old and outdated… then we came across Legacy Cruises and Events. From the pictures online you can just see how beautiful the boat is and how there is nothing else like it in Southern California.

When we first saw the yacht in person, it was so much more beautiful than the pictures. The yacht offers a dual experience: Inside/Downstairs and Outside/Upstairs.

The Inside/Downstairs was spotless and had such a cool and hip feel. It felt like a very tasteful and elegant lounge. The flow of the inside was also something that was flawless.

The Outside/Upstairs provided the ocean experience we wanted. There were 360 views of downtown San Diego and the Captain drives you all around. We put our DJ up there and made it our dance floor. It so unique to dance the night away on a boat in the ocean with the High Rise in the sunset. This is a must try.

The People: When we called to inquire about reserving, we spoke to Sam. Sam’s energy was so welcoming and ready to make our party happen. He made us feel like family and we decided to do go with them. The reservation process was seamless and compared to the other yachts this was within the same price range. On the date of the party, we met Sam, Leon, and the Captain. They were so kind and warm. We felt like they wanted us to have a wonderful time and were ready to serve. Throughout the whole night they continued to ask me if me or my guests needed anything. Their energy allowed us to be so comfortable and really enjoy the party. At the end of the night they were so kind and thanked us so much for choosing them. They were such genuinely good people.

Bottom Line: Legacy Cruises and Events is different from any other yacht/boating experience you will receive in Southern California. Give them a call before you book any other yacht and you will not be disappointed.

We chartered the Sirara for a 20th anniversary party of the opening of a science lab and it could not have gone better. First, this yacht is absolutely stunning! The interior of the lower level is beautifully maintained and very spacious. We encountered some unfortunate weather the day of our party, but all 45 people fit comfortably in this area while we waited for the rain to die down. The upper deck was adorned with a few belly tables as well as a nice sitting area with a table to enjoy the beautiful views. Second, the crew is fantastic! Our captain was really kind and very informative about the Sirara vessel as well as about what to expect during our 3-hour harbor cruise. Sam and the cabin crew were also extremely nice and unbelievably helpful. I could not have pulled off such a wonderful event without their meticulous attention to detail and help with all the party planning specifics. Tianna was our bartender and she was fantastic. The drinks were delicious and she was very friendly and nice to talk with. Lastly, we worked with their caterer, JP Culinary, to create the perfect menu within our budget. We ended up having tacos with chips & dips for our entree/appetizers and then dulce de leche cake as dessert. The entire meal was absolutely delicious and very fairly priced. JP was very easy to work with and we really appreciated him taking the time to chat about exactly what our needs were and him making such a great menu for us. The entire experience, as you can see from this review, was excellent and we could not have been happier with the way everything turned out. I booked the Sirara yacht for my 40th birthday recently in March 2022 and I had the most UNFORGETTABLE time! Not just me, but my entire party of 25 guests. The event manager, Leon, made the entire planning process super seamless and easy. He was with me every step of the way. He accommodated to my every need and provided all pertinent information before the yacht party .

I’m a pretty fancy and very extra person, so the luxury yacht was perfect. Go big or go home! I booked catering, decor, DJ, and videography through Leon. Seamless.

The yacht is new, clean, gorgeous and very modern. Furnished to perfection. The bathroom is so big and fancy. Crew members we’re amazing! Talk about customer service. The crew waited on my guest hand and foot and they even took pictures of our group and party. Sam was so nice and sweet to my friends. He even gave one of my friends who can’t handle the sea Dramamine. Captain Anthony was pretty cool too.

I did a 4 hour cruise from 4:30 boarding and on water from 5-9pm. We caught the beautiful sunset and danced through the night. All my friends had a great time and it’s going down in the books! Worth...
