Epi Center MedSpa — Attraction in San Francisco

Professional with a long history in the business and being voted the "Best MedSpa in the Country" I would expect nothing less than perfection! I have been a client since 2004 and I have referred them to numerous friends, who now call Epi their "home."

I first experienced the PhotoFacial, founded by their distinguished Dermatologist, Dr. Bitter, who is renowned in the cosmetic medical industry. My pigmented, spotty skin which looked like I had actual dirt on it, at least this is what I was told on a few occasion by folks who tried to wipe it off, was completely transformed into a spotless canvas - smooth, silky and flawless. I was hooked!!! I've received so many compliments after my series of PhotoFacial treatments that I became "the face of Epi," as everyone wanted to know how I got my skin to glow. I now come to get "maintenance" Photo Facial treatments in order to keep the spots away, especially after a summer vacation.

Another treatment I recently experienced that I am a huge fan of is the micro-needling facial. Just wow!!! And, if you've never experienced dermaplaning, please consider it. Getting those pesky peach fuzz hairs off your face not only eliminates the unwanted facial hair but allows your products to penetrate deeply into the skin and do the job they are supposed to do. In addition, the dry skin is removed so your skin feels amazing!!! Kelly Ferrante is my go to gal however Danielle Whitlock is fabulous. Can't go wrong with these two ladies!

I've also tried a little Botox here and there to rid the lines that seem to get deeper and more noticeable as I get older. I love how smooth my skin looks.

Lisa Szady...the best keeps getting better! She is a miracle worker. Botox, filler, PhotoFacial...you name it. However, you need to make sure to book some time in advance as her schedule fills up fast!

Overall, with the skilled staff and reputable medical personnel, I would not trust my skin to anyone else. Therefore, I decided, since I rarely do reviews, that as a long standing client, it is time to sing...

I had the best luck in the world to have found this marvelous place in downtown SF that offers top of the line talent and the latest in technology/ treatments to maintain, support and make you beautiful and young! I visited them in Dec 2016.... and kept going. I had the best Ultherpay treatment ever!!! by Lisa...a true artist and professional... Blu gave me truly remarkable Cool Sculpting on those stubborn areas ...a sculptor! I also received multiple hair laser removal treatments for facial hair growth..the best results ever in my 15 years of doing these...and, by far, the most effective numbing creme ...not an itch or sensation nor discomfort! To top it, a weekly B12 shot for 3 months...unbelievable results overall...hair, skin, stamina, lean muscle.. And more...they have the most compassionate, knowledgeable and welcoming staff of any spa of treatment center I have ever encountered ever!,,, in The US or Europe Well enough, after 5 months, I welcomed my 50th birthday looking like a 38 year old kid....no kidding.....unbelievable You really need to take advantage of their full range of treatments...and keep going .... They will give you back at least 10 years...I cannot believe what I see in the mirror now....wonderful😀 Rafael V

The overall treatment was fine but the owner's attitude and customer service left a lot to be desired.

For my first informational visit, I showed up to my appointment on time but had to wait almost 30 min before I could be seen. It might have been even longer had I not asked the receptionist how much longer it would be, at which time she told me I needed to complete paperwork before I could be seen. Then, during my meeting with the co-founder, Margaret, I mentioned how her staff was responsible for my delay which she brushed off by saying, "Oh, its just the holidays". She didn't even apologize for keeping me waiting. Then in the consultation, Margaret did not indicate that I needed any pre-treatment - instead wanted to schedule me for the treatment.

Two weeks later, I arrive for my treatment on time, and after waiting for another 20 minutes, met with the nurse who then advised that my skin needs to be pre-treated for 2 weeks. Thanks - you just wasted my last two weeks and forced me to come in twice now when that could have been avoided in the first place.

Overall, the customer service and Margaret's attitude were unprofessional and negatively impacted what could have been a really...
