This is a hidden gem for visitors! We saw the cool tank outside and noticed the museum was opened. This place has such a wealth of history!! It's a great museum that covers so much, from the WWs to the more recent American wars. There's so much to see — even an armory room. Read moreThis is really a 1st Class museum. The layout is great and covers wars from the Spanish-American, WW1, 2, Korea, Cold War, Vietnam and the ME. Don Mueller gave my tour and was accompanied by Sandy (Sergeant Major) who shared some fascinating pieces of history that were part of her family’s past.
Set aside an hour if you’re interested in history and want to see an example of how museum quality artifacts are both displayed and maintained at the highest level.
