Villa Motel San Luis Obispo — Hotel in San Luis Obispo

Was looking for reasonable place to spend quick night and this fit bill. It is an older small property (15 units with 15 parking spaces plus one ADA). Two story with no elevator. Check-in was easy, Debra seemed welcoming and open to answering questions. Though it faces Monterey St was quiet. Pleasant walk toThursday Night downtown Farmer’s Market. Television is smaller unit but had a wide variety of channels. Refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker in room. WiFi worked well as did A/C. Yes, the room is stated and probably would be wise to replace carpet for laminate and fix structural wall cracks but for the amount of time spent in room and price compared to other places was willing to overlook to have a clean bed (sheets were actually crisp and apparently clean as was rest of bedding). Gave it average rating, though no complaints because all travelers have different tastes...

Weird service , the woman Debra who works there when checking in said " If I need anything from you I'l call you r room" in a weird tone asked alot of personal questions was hovering constantly walking by my door ,callg my room at all hours of the night, I had to run out of the shower to answer the phone. she put notes to other hotels that "I" spilt some "liquid" in the room when it was just water from running to the phone from answering her constant calls.then when I was leaving she walked up to my kids and was just standing there by them, and asked me where I was going. Totally creepy.She seems like a lonely woman w no business of her own. I wouldn't recommend that place to anyone .I would not go but there. Was not able to get a peaceful...

This is a very cute hotel, however, the staff is rude and hovers over anyone who rents a room! I would not recommend spending your money here. I stayed for 2 nights my room was dirty, the towels are thin and old. Then my fiancee came to town to surprise me a night early. I introduced him to the female on sight.... After an uncomfortable interigation, she said it was no problem that he could stay so long as we don't use the 2nd bed. Which we did not. We checked out and came back about two weeks later since it had the cheapest rate and were informed the last time we stayed, "we had too many people in the room." Go somewhere else these people have no manners and know nothing of...
