Lido Key — Attraction in Sarasota

The beaches are white sand but full of shells and rocks. They are not very deep as they have been damaged by Hurricane Hermione but signs indicate they are trying to fix. Water is nice and clear. The real gem is the mangrove reserve which allows for amazing kayaking. Known for manatees but the birdlife is much more impressive. The concession stand at the public beach next to the pool has really good unassuming food, ie; good beer range, great burger, great lobster roll, goats cheese salad. Feels like a walk in the park. There's a little construction taking place but very easy to navigate though while being able to enjoy the beautiful landscape & take part in amazing dining experiences & close by shopping. A very attractive place to explore! Don't forget to enjoy the beach & it's fantastic sunset's!! I will return to explore the fishing atmosphere...

It’s my Jamaica getaway. Didn’t want to leave . We absolutely loved Lido key & St Armands Circle. The gorgeous sunset & the tranquil beautiful Gulf & turquoise water .
