The beaches are white sand but full of shells and rocks. They are not very deep as they have been damaged by Hurricane Hermione but signs indicate they are trying to fix. Water is nice and clear. The real gem is the mangrove reserve which allows for amazing kayaking. Known for manatees but the birdlife is much more impressive. The concession stand at the public beach next to the pool has really good unassuming food, ie; good beer range, great burger, great lobster roll, goats cheese salad.
