Don’t book Unit 209. Review for Unit 209 specifically. Very dirty unit. Tired, beat up furnishings. Refrigerator had ground in black grime on handle and front. Worn out linens. Only 3 old beach towels. Dirt, dust, hair all around the perimeter of the tile floor. Picked up rug at the foot of the bed and was thick layer of dirt. Floor mat at kitchen sink was black. Feet were black if walking barefoot. Mold on side of bathroom vanity. Dresser in bedroom was beat up. Pillows on couch and chairs were filthy dirty. Couch/bed was dirty and uncomfortable. Spent $20 in cleaning supplies and Saturday night/Sunday morning cleaning. Not a great way to start a vacation. Reported to office, they said they’d pass on to owner. Also emailed after I returned home asking to let me know after owner was contacted and never heard back. This is the 3rd unit we’ve stayed in and by far the worst. The other units had some outdated furnishings but were clean and had good linens and beach towels. Pool and grounds are great. The people who stay there are friendly. Lido Dorset condo Unit 102. DO Not rent this unit! Deplorable condition. Ceiling water stained in master bdrm. Linens are old, ragged and stained. We had to borrow towels from another unit. Bedding old, substandard, well below the standard we have experienced in other units we have rented here for the last 17 years. You won't want to drink from the plastic drinking glasses. Paint on the doors is grimy.....in need of a fresh coat. There is no pride of ownership as with the other condo owners. This owner should be ashamed! This is an absolutely wonderful place to go. It's close to the circle so easy to get to entertainment shopping food but right across the street from the beach which is not crowded and is gorgeous and peaceful and full of seashells. Make sure you take your shoes as you're walking along the beach so you don't step on any of those sharp seashells.
