I had to do this review. Not only because I'm the type of person that reads reviews, but the unprofessional demeanor was just baffling. I have been going to this location for about 3 years now. The aesthetician I used moved away. Therefore, leaving me to find someone else. I booked a Brazilian with YONA. I've seen her around the shop before. My appointment was at 4:20pm. I was check in and seated at 4:10pm. She was finishing up another customer and came out of the room at 4:21pm while that customer got dressed. She began talking with her coworkers as the client came out, paid, and left. Never once acknowledged me. I was the only customer in the lobby. She never went back in the room to clean the room from the previous customer. She continued talking with a coworker pertaining to work schedules. She then walked down the hall and began talking with other coworkers pertaining to music. Just general conversations. Nothing professional or pertaining to business. Remind you, this is after my appointment. I sat quietly and waited until 4:38pm. Some may say that's not long. Listen, this place will cancel your appointment if you are 5 minutes late. This was not a peak hour. They were not busy. I could hear the conversations and I'm sitting here waiting for my service. I am a regular customer who tips $20 EVERY TIME! I have noticed the arrogance with Yona before. Her demeanor comes off as if we need her so we will wait. She isn't consistent at all. Really unprofessional. Customer's are strictly held to a standard on appointments at this location. I understand things happen. However, not this day. The front desk receptionist even noticed how unprofessional it was. She did not speak on it negatively but her approach to reassure that it shouldn't be much longer said it all. I eventually canceled the appointment after still waiting and never received my services. I guess Yona felt I would wait because I needed her services. After 3 plus years of receiving services at this location I have never been more disappointed. I miss my old tech so much. Even those I've referred has faced similar challenges here. Yona may be decent or experienced at what she does but you will deal with the unprofessional attitude before you receive/PAY for it. If you have the patience to pay for this type of service then have at it. Not my money. I will be looking for another business to support. This shop has gotten so bad...
Read moreI have been a customer with these guys for some time and overall the customer service is wonderful. Both estheticians Bella and Jasmine has always been nothing but a pleasure. These ladies are amazing. I would have given 5 stars but the manager YONA is unprofessional. I have not been receiving appointment reminders via text which is not a problem until you forget the date of your appointment. I came in today to let the staff know and to just update my preference to phone calls . That said while discussing this private matter my personal details such as phone number was made very public to others in the building. I tried not to make it big deal but then she proceeds to tell me to in the future write my appointments down ——- when I’m clearly setup for appointment reminders .Then she proceeds to get me in with another wax specialist who I’m unfamiliar with and tells me that i have seen her several times —— after looking again in her laptop she then confirms that i have not in fact been seen by her.. I’m like thinking why are you trying to push me off on someone else when I would like to remain with who I scheduled with. I don’t care about the wait my esthetician Jas is definitely worth a 10 minute wait . Overall YONA needs to work on her overall mannerism and level of professionalism. She needs to stay from at the front desk and just manage from the behind the scenes because if I wasn’t a repeat client her presence alone would have sent me out to the door back to Wax and Wane . Read moreThis is my 3 visit. Today I lost my car key and call then telling that I might not be able to make to my appointment that was 9:20 but I called them 20 minutes before my appointment . She wanted to reschedule me for the same day at 2:00pm I said okay. So I found my key before 2:00 and I call then back she said can you make to 9:40 am I said okay but when I called her was 9:33 and I told her my house is 27 minutes away. When I noticed what time it was when I called. I called again to tell her I would make at 10 am when I got here she told me just wait for 2 pm I said okay. I waited on my car for 4 hours. I went back and she said they are running late so 2:40 I said okay fine. Later she tell me they won’t be able to do my way if I can schedule again. What got me mad is that you see a computer in front of you if there was no way that you can do my wax today why you didn’t reschedule me in the beginning before I left the house and waited inside the car for 4 hours.
