I visited the emergency room here against my better judgement after a bicycle accident in September. It all starts with the ambulance staff, who kept urging me to go to emergency room even though I had not suffered a concussion and passed all of their field tests. They rolled me into the Osborn Emergency room where a room full of approx 15 people did every test imaginable. I answered all of their questions and $25,000 dollars later had done absolutely nothing but confirm that my clavicle was separated and 1 cracked rib. The worst part was that I waited in the recovery room for the Orthopedic Dr for over an hour and instead of coming in to speak with me regarding my shoulder, he phoned down and said that it looked like an old injury and released me. WRONG AND INCOMPETENT! To top it off, my records from that day mentioned being hit by a car everywhere, which is not the least bit true. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the state of our healthcare in the U.S.... Hospitals overcharging for unnecessary and negligent care. So unimpressed I am still beside myself. Update: Total Bills for an approx 3 hour visit just over $34,000. HonorHealth recently reduced their portion of billing from $30K to $19K and then down to $3600 due to me qualifying for financial assistance. This makes up for much of my bad experience but these costs need to be the same whether I pay them or my insurance pays them. They need a menu with pricing where everything is disclosed ahead of procedures.

This hospital is the best hospital ever been admitted in to. The staff in the emergency room was quick and very informative on every move they were making on me. Once brought to a room my nurse Bonny was the most kindest caring nurse I've ever had. I had 2 surgeries on differ days and the staff was all amazing in each department I've dealt with. I would recommend this place to everyone. Even the lady Sherri (I believe that's how her name is spelled) who escorted me to my transportation when I was leaving was caring and amazing šŸ‘ I appreciate this hospital and its staff so much for all that they did for me. Awesome job to everyone there

I provided a poor review (screen shot below). And received a reply from Honor Health at Osborn providing me with the standard 'care' response of taking these complaints seriously. I was then provided with a number and email that I had a l ready used to lodge my complaint. Months ago. The result? In 6 months I have been harassed about an outstanding balance (I had paid immediately for all tests etc); yet was reluctant to pay over $3,000 for 'room and board' where basics of care were unequivocally neglected/ommitted/absent. The result of my reaching out? My bill was sent to collections.

I recently had an unexpected emergency and I couldn’t decide which hospital would be the right choice for me given my particular situation, so I begin with the usual, ā€œhospitals near meā€ search on google. Well, after my experience and reflecting back on others reviews, I had to speak up for this hospital. To start with, the check in process was super quick. I was there at 10:10 AM on a Thursday, so there were only a few folks in the waiting area. My wait time was just under 30 minutes or less before someone took me back to start my registration. The nurse was super professional and nice. Check-in was a smooth process since I am a patient of HonorHealth therefore they had all of my records. So this makes the process so much easier and they have all current history on me. I was then taken to another room for the standard EKG test performed in an ER circumstance. Within minutes after, I was taken back to a private ER room. Again, super streamlined process. Everything looked, felt and smelled very clean including sanitized. All the people working there practiced all the required safety protocols regarding CDC guidelines. They had an ICU nurse waiting for me bedside as I entered. Then a surgeon right behind him. Without too much personal info, they were very prompt with running the test needed for my particular situation. I’m guessing that I had at least five people taken care of me including the MD. Probably one the best hospital visits I’ve had whether it was for someone else or myself. All the way around, my husband and I had a great experience. The surgeon/doctor and nurses we very informative and included my husband in the conversations as well as answered any questions or concerns. I felt bad being there and possibly adding to the already problematic pandemic care that has been a huge priority these days with numerous horror stories to add. However, the surgeon/doctor, Geoffrey M Schultz, MD and nurse, Steven were very kind and assured me that it was better to be safe and come in. I truly appreciated their promptness to help me and not making me feel like I was a burden. Thankfully I had nothing serious going on, so my stay was very short. For that, I am grateful. While I haven’t quite figured out what’s going on with my situation that I went to the ER for in the first place, I’m glad I didn’t have something serious and follow up with my primary doctor ASAP. Hopefully I won’t need to return, but I would highly recommend this hospital to my friends and family. I don’t have everyone’s name that assisted with my care, but literally everyone there was so kind and professional. I am grateful for their hardwork and commitment to the healthcare industry like thousands of other healthcare heroes. I can’t imagine what our lives would be like without them! Thank you. Hopefully, I will not need a hospital anytime soon, but if I do, I would definitely come back to HonorHealth...

My profile picture is of my mother Agnes, I would give zero stars if I could to this facility. She died on March 30th of 2023 after a successful surgery, what wasn't successful was her postcare at Honorhealth Osborn I had a series of problems that caused a snowball effect that in turn 3 facilities had a hand in and led to her death. But let me focus on why I filed a complaint at Osborn

My mother had surgery - the surgery itself was fine however, the attending physician allowed my mother to become grossly congested with fluid - my mother weighed 122 when she went in and weighed 145 when discharged days later to a rehab center which I fought and was ignored. My mother never used oxygen at home, and not congested her 02 was better than mine at home - but she was on 2 liters during her stay there at Osborn post surgery - the attending discharged her against my wishes and that of another doctor with Honorhealth - who told me she should not be released until her 02 stats improved and until she was longer so full of fluid. That doctor also told me to file the complaint that I did.

I had to insist on every test to try and prove to them that she was congested - and even then with my concerns proven to be true the attending still discharged. Upon transport to Rehab, osborn loaded her up MINUS oxygen - remember she was on 2 liters - Upon arrival at rehab her 02 stats was 80.

Because of that I filed a complaint as this (among everything else) is and was unacceptable. I received a note today and the note bulletpointed nothing I had filed the complaint over alot of meaningless words and paragraphs - where was the "findings" on the reason I filed the complaint?

Buried I had to hunt for it to see their "findings" And this is word for word from the vice president, chief medical officer - quote" I cannot speak as to why she was transported without supplemental oxygen, especially if her levels were at 80. We certainly have the capability to give oxygen to patients in transport - unquote.

If they cannot answer this, and say or do something other than that response - they most clearly want to try to bury the reason for my inital complaint....along with my mother.

Stay as far away from Honorhealth Osborn as humanly possible. My mom was able to somehow continue to breathe on her own until she received oxygen upon arrival at the rehab for physical therapy (which is another story altogether) Which I guess makes it okay that she was transported with none to them? What if she died then, would I have gotten the same no-response? Probably

Don't let your parents alone for a moment in that hospital or let them be transported without you with them. They dont care, its a corporation. They know nothing about and dont care about your health, experienced personnel is gone, and they take zero responsibilty when they do...

I had hip replacement surgery and the surgical staff and surgery prep team were amazing! My problem is with after when I was in recovery. I was assigned a room that faced the sun and the room was very hot. The nurse attempted to lower the temperature and said would contact someone to lower the temperature to a more comfortable level. I don't know if that order was delivered or just ignored, but an entire day passed before the temperature felt even a little more comfortable. The next problem was the bedding was not changed until the morning of my discharge day and I laid in the same sheets that I was on during my surgery. The room was very small and I felt I was just put anywhere and I ended up on the neurological treatment floor where the nurses were occupied with extremely difficult patients and pretty much forgot about me until either shift change or when it was time to take my meds. I was very uncomfortable and I asked about changing the dressing and bandage from my surgery, but was pretty much dismissed when I asked if it should be cleaned and changed. There were not any notes saying anything about frequency of changing the bandage and nobody called my surgeon or his PA to find out. The physical therapy staff was good and helped me with the exercises for moving around after the surgery. The doctor I did speak to had no clue about my case and either didn't find out about the surgeon wanting me to stay in the hospital for observation because of my heart history. He said he would find out but I don't remember seeing him after that. He seemed anxious to have me discharged without knowing the details of my particular case. On the day I was discharged, the nurse provided the paperwork but it did not have ANY information regarding the care of the wound area. How often it should be cleaned and changed for example. I had to wait an additional 3 days to find out it should be cleaned and changed daily!! I'm lucky that an infection didn't set in. Finally, when I was being wheeled to the lobby area, the nurse that was taking me down was trying to do too many things with her hands and the pull bar, that allows the chair to move, slipped out of her grip and the chair jerked to a stop causing extreme pain in the surgery area. She could have just stopped, got situated and organized and then continue with taking me down. I feel she was just in a hurry and was annoyed that nobody else was either willing or available to take me down. I don't know why everyone was in such a hurry to get me to leave. She didn't even ask me any questions when I told her that I didn't feel like I was ready to leave and I was not comfortable and scared about leaving. It has been a real struggle with my after care with pain, severe discomfort and anxiety in...
