Seaside Carousel Mall — Attraction in Seaside

My family and I spent three days at seaside Oregon for the weekend and everyday our kids rode the carousel. A young gentleman was working the first two days and was so funny and nice. He let me set my shopping bag inside the carousel to attend to my twin 4 year olds to ride. The last day we went and this older gentleman was very rude, told me drink weren’t aloud inside and to set them on the table outside the carousel. I did without a fuss ( I think that’s reasonable). I went to set my sons little toy inside the carousel by the lost and found box like I did days prior and attended to my twins. He grab the box followed me and threw it on the ground at my feet and firmly said “ you carry your stuff yourself!” It wasn’t a busy Sunday. There was only one other customer a women with her baby. I didn’t see the harm in putting my stuff down as I was by myself with my kids. He had a visitor come right after that and set her purse down where I had tried to set the toy down at and they talk the whole time. He started the ride before I could get my son buckled in all the way. He didn’t even walk around to check. I took...

My husband had swept me away on a Special Surprise Getaway to Seaside. I had recently been diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer. I had just had a difficult Chemo Therapy Treatment....so my husband drove me here to beautiful Seaside. My hair has already fallen out ....but I know God is healing me thru the Chemo Therapy. And we are very hopeful We were looking for a cute hat to wear with the new wigs I recently had to get. We found a perfect lil hat shop here at The Carousel Mall . Great price...and I love the fun style ! They have a great variety of hats in this shop. There are also a big selection of different stores here in the Carousel Mall. There's also a sweatshirt and sweatpants shop here also. You gotta check it out !! It's a really fun atmosphere.....with the giant Carousel in here !! Lil children as well as grown ups enjoy riding the Carousel. We love watching our 5 yr. old grandson ride it with his Mommy when we bring them with us. It just takes you back when you were a child....So many fun Memories when you see a giant Carousel ! Perfect spot to come to while visiting Seaside....

Not to be missed! A wonderful attraction for young people while in Seaside. We found this when rain forced us off the beach. This is a lovely, original-style carousel right in the middle of a little mall. My three year old rode it at least ten times. Can't remember the price, but it was affordable. You can kill some serious time in the mall between the carousel, toy store, arcade, and Chinese food restaurant (full disclosure-there may be other stores there but I didn't visit them and don't remember what they were). The toy store is a delight, full of curiosities of the fun and educational sort, with many bins and shelves available for touching and admiring. The arcade is loud and flashy, but even my sensitive kid enjoyed the motorcycle simulator and others. And I'm not usually one for Chinese food, but seriously, the food was delicious, portions hearty, and the staff very friendly. We're headed back to Seaside soon and will definitely return to this mall,...
