Listen, not all teriyaki places are made the same. I love me some teriyaki and I will try it from any place new. These guys have been around for 20 plus years but I discovered this little place recently because I drive a truck and delivery to Amazon nearby. I decided for my 10-hour break today to grab some food before going back to work, because I did manage to find a place to park nearby.
If you don't know it's there, you might miss the place entirely. You walk in and there is a tiny little dining room and a window to order through. The lighting is a bit harsh at first but it's the only negative point I found.
The order taker is very charismatic and just wonderful to talk to. He explained a little bit about the meal and I ordered chicken teriyaki. It's a pretty decent size portion and comes with rice and a salad. I decided since I have to work all night and I don't know when I'll have another chance to stop I grabbed a burger for the road also.
The teriyaki did not take long to get to my table and it was piled high with an extra portion of the sauce to pour over. The salad was nice and cold and topped with ranch. The chicken was cooked to perfection with a healthy amount of teriyaki sauce and laid over two huge scoops of rice. It's been a minute since I've had teriyaki and I don't know if I've had it anywhere that's better than this but I will definitely come back here because it was AH-MAZ-ING!
Most of the staff stayed in the kitchen aside from the one kid that came out to clean tables and take out garbage, but they were all very professional and friendly. The same guy that takes the orders also delivers them to the table and I think he's part cook also.
If you find yourself in SeaTac for any reason, business or pleasure, try to stop into Bob's burgers because you won't be sorry.
P.S. I did have to try the fries immediately when I got out to my truck just to make sure they're wonderful hot, but I'm so full that meal is for later. And yeah the fries...
Read moreI’m playing a few shows in the area with my band and we’re staying at the hotel about 1500 feet away. I figured I’d try this place out over IHOP, which is literally beside the hotel. I’m glad I made the right choice. I walked in and was greeted by a very kind man behind the counter. I have to assume he’s the owner as he had that prideful care in his actions and how he talked to the others in the kitchen. I ordered the Philly steak, which is why I went there, then I saw the yakisoba noodles With steak and vegetables and had to get that! It was very clean in there and the decor was simple, but thoughtful. He rang me up, and I brought the food back with me to the hotel. I instantly torn into the noodles and very impressed. The thinly sliced steak was delicious, the noodles had that perfect texture to them, not cheap noodles. The sauce was perfect. I couldn’t stop eating it. Then I ripped into the Philly cheesesteak. That was just as perfect. I was concerned the Swiss cheese was going to take over, but it didn’t at all. Taste perfectly. The bread was just right, squishy pliable, but didn’t break apart from the Steak juices. All in all, I’ll give this food five stars for sure. And of course, the name Drew me there since it’s my wife’s favorite cartoon. When we return here to play more shows, I’ll definitely come back for more. I hope to hear for a long time. I might order food on the way out tomorrow! Support local...
Read moreLong day, delayed flight, was expecting to eat at Pikes Place but traffic was horrible and we were so hungry. After checking into our hotel, looked up area restaurants and great reviews kept coming back to this place. Thank goodness for reviews; it was so delicious! Hubs & Son got burgers. A bacon cheeseburger and a Mushroom & Swiss.I snuck a fry (the yummy crinkle kind).
TheTeriyaki chicken was enough to share. (I wanted to be stingy it was that good but I did share.) Huge slices of chicken. The BEST Teriyaki sauce I've ever had. It didn't taste like 'black salt water' like I've had before. The thickness was just right and the sauce was very delicious! Lots of rice and I agree about the rice being like sushi ricet was perfect with the teriyaki. Salad is included and the dressing (ranch) tasted home-made.
Hole in the Wall is a good description but food and service were satisfying enough. I didn't think to take a picture but I looked at Bob's Burgers and Teriyaki's website and the teriyaki chicken pic is accurate. Too bad you can't taste...
