What a great place with such a positive vibe! I don't think there's ever been a time that I've gone to the market where I haven't left feeling Just at peace and happy... it doesn't matter whether it's raining or sun shining! The last time I was there I was sitting in my car getting ready to leave and this beautiful girl dressed all in yellow came to my window and handed me this gorgeous tulip Arrangement and told me that they were for me, then proceeded to give me a hug and said have a great day..... and it just blew my mind! What a great place, with such beautiful people and beautiful views! If you haven't gone for a while and you're local, you need to come and experience the market again, and just have a nice afternoon or make a day of it! I think it's fair to say that there's something for everyone at every age! The locals merchants have amazing talents and they create the most unique and beautiful handcrafted things! I've got a some amazing things from Seattle Raindrop Jewelry, pieces that I wear everyday ! Rachel is the silver/goldsmith and makes each piece by hand. Just amazing quality at such a reasonable price! The Produce and the Seafood/Meat are exceptionally fresh and of excellent quality! I don't think there's anything that you could want and not find it there in some capacity! Probably a lot of other things you never thought you needed that you would definitely decide you did ! ;) ...And if you're reading this and you are on vacation or you're from out of town... make sure to put it on your list of things not to miss when you're here !! You will have lovely memories and you'll want to take a lot of pictures so make sure you bring your phone fully charged or your camera as there are a lot of photo Point opportunities. Of course it has the beautiful Puget Sound Waterfront but there's also brilliant color with backdrops of Gorgeous Flowers and vibrant fruit and vegetables ! OF course it wouldn't be the Pike Place Market without.. the smells of fresh bread and pastries, homemade waffles, fresh corn on the cob, as well as the aroma of wonderfully cooked International Foods throughout the air.. even if you weren't hungry.... you will be!!! Have fun don't forget to ask about the Gum Wall and get your picture taken with the Pike...
Read moreLove this place! Pike Market is always crowded and not super well ventilated so this sundeck is a perfect place to take a break, get some fresh air, and eat your lunch. It's open to all public.
Not a pretty view if you ask me, but hear me out: what you see is the former Alaskan Way Viaduct, an elevated freeway that stood as a barrier between Downtown Seattle and the beautiful waterfront. Its removal creates an opportunity to reshape the landscape of Seattle's waterfront, making it opener, greener, more accessible, and more...
Read moreA hidden gem where you can enjoy the view of the Big Wheel, the waterfront, the cruise ships and the sea breeze. It gets crowded during day, so I suggest you go later in the afternoon when the sun is setting or when Seattle skylight lights up....
