Paradise beachwear — Local services in South Padre Island

I was on a week Long Beach trip here. The night before my departure I went here and spent $153 on custom shirts, clearance, jewelry and ice cream. I was super happy with my purchase so I wanted to come back and get a few more designs made before we left back home. I had 7 shirts 2 hoodies, some swim wear, stuffed animals in my bag. The shirts were being made: there was a small boy absolutely wrecking the toy area and I was making my kids clean up and treat the toys well. The boy had broken toys and I immediately told the clerk and she said “oh it’s fine no biggie” the family had purchased one hat. My daughter did end up breaking a door on a small car and I was told I have to purchase it even though he little boy had just destroyed many toys and I had probably $300 of items…. I decided I wanted to return what I had bought the night prior because I didn’t want to give them any of my money or business. I dug through my car to find everything I bought. I could not find my receipt as I originally was satisfied with my purchase and did not want to return any of it: I walked in with my items; I saw the sign that said no refunds and walked right back out with my items. Two woman chased me out and accused me of stealing the items I had bought the night prior. We exchanged words and I had enough so I said call the cops I am not dealing with this right now. I called myself because I was not sure if they called or not and I did not want to leave and be accused of stealing and running. I am a successful hard working mother of 3. My husband is a sheriff. I would NEVER steal. This is humiliating and traumatizing for my kids: nothing was found on the cameras. It was proven I bought it all the night prior and in the end they looked stupid. Don’t shop here unless you want to be accused...

This store is not right at all, my son purchased a couple of hundred dollars on shirts and souvenirs. What a bad experience when we are taking a vacation over one $20.00 shirt. My son left one shirt in the store had forgotten it. He went back the next day and the employee who was at the register remember by don and told this lady who we assume is the Manager or owner that my son has in fact left one shirt in the store. The was so extremely rude and unprofessional gave my son a hard time and refused to give my son his shirt or a refund. That is FRAUD!!! You can't just charge for merchandise and if the customer forgot the bag and comes back and you decide to just keep the stuff.On top of that your employee is saying yes!!! Customer left his bag and refund yessssoyessss!o!M!r is Fraud?to!!!!! My son being the better person just walked away. Is not the _20.00 dollars...

If I could put negative i would! I took my niece here to look at souvenirs. I was looking at ankle bracelets which are right by the register. I found one I liked and held it while I shopped. When I went to pay, the clerk accused me of stealing one. She said I watched you, you picked up 2. One fell and I was nice enough to pick it up and put it back. It was $2.99....are you kidding me? I don't need to steal anything much less support a shop that will accused me of stealing. Never ever will I shop...
