Dec. 10, 2024 UPDATE:
I am 74 years old and Dr. Romy Park is my Eye Doctor I Highly Trust. She has been my eye doctor since 2011.
She uses State of the Art eye exam machines and gives me a thorough review of my eye vision. I really appreciate that she does not rush me and answers All my questions.
Medicare pays for my annual exam and I pay out of pocket $30 for the pictures to see inside my eyes. I want to have a pictorial history of my eye health and any changes.
This year she told me my vision had changed significantly and within 2 years, I will need to get cataract surgery. I know when it is necessary, Dr. Romy Park will refer me to a good surgeon and Medicare will approve it.
I highly recommend her to All my friends and family.
Nov. 22, 2022 UPATE:
Today, I had my annual eye exam. Alie, Dr. Romy Park’s staff let me know that Dr. Romy Park was not available today and would it be okay to have Dr. Sy exam my eyes. I have been seeing Dr. Romy Park for many, many years because I trust her. She takes time to thoroughly exam my eyes and explains my eye health. I never feel rushed and always feel confident I have a real professional taking care of me.
Dr. Sy made me feel that same. She thoroughly examined my eyes. She did the same in answering ALL my eye questions. I had two pictures of my eyes so that the office could have visual tracking of my eye health. Dr. Sy did not like the picture of one of my eyes and had Alie re-take it. Dr. Sy showed me previous pictures taken in 2020 that were okay but could have been better. I really appreciated Dr. Sy’s level of detail.
I am 72 years old and Medicare pays for my yearly exam. 2020, Dr. Park’s staff took pictures of my eyes without me understanding, "Why?" When the issue was brought to Dr. Romy Park’s attention, she waived the fee. Now, I understand the importance of paying the $30 fee. As a senior, it is important to have a visual record of your eyes as they age.
I highly recommend Dr. Romy Park and Dr. Sy for your eye care needs.
PS. Dr. Park's office is in Walmart and accepts Walk Ins!
Nov. 5, 2020 UPDATE; I am now 70 years old a senior. I had an excellent appointment with Dr. Romy Park. Her staff was professional and was constantly cleaning to be COVID Safe.
Dr. Park performed my eye examination with her state of art equipment. At the end of the examination, she let me know that cataract was affecting my eyes. She showed me a model of the eye ball and explained to me how the lens in my eyes were getting cloudy.
I am glad my Medicare covers the exam. I will always go to her and when I need eye surgery, I know she will recommend an expert.
Note: I highly recommend seniors pay the extra $30 for taking pictures of the inner eye. You will have an important record of your eye health and be able to confirm any changes.
Sept. 4, 2018 UPDATE: I am a 67 year old senior and I look for good doctors that listen and communicate well.
Dr Romy Park is Excellent. I had my appointment with her today. She performed my eye tests thoroughly and professionally. She reviewed my past records with me to let me know my eyes changed and wrote me a new prescription. I continue to trust her with my eye health.
I also talked to her about the negative reviews I had recently read and her staff performance. She was very appreciative and receptive to listen to improving the performance of her office. She told me she had opened a second office and would take steps to improve both offices. November, 2011
Dr. Romy Park and her staff are very professional. Medicare covers her examination fee. She had examined my eyes in 2009. She discussed my eye health changes and the new prescription.
I will always go to Dr Park for my annual exams and refer her as a very...
Read moreIf you want too wait two hours after your appointment, Dr. Park is your doctor. Also the exam for contacts is $175. Please if you decide to come to her office make sure you let her know you’re not comfortable with your contacts if you’re NOT. Even if you feel rude about. She nor her office employees have empathy for their patients. When they expect their patients to be empathetic towards them. Read over their Policies as they have a 6 month rule that they don’t verbally tell you about. Don’t be suprised if you have to reschedule. My contacts took a month to arrive(special lenses) and Dr. Prk gave me trial lenses that were only meant for 2 weeks. When I called to get more because they kept making my eyes dry out she said no.
Let me take the time to address a response back to you Dr. Park since you have time to reply online. The trial lenses took longer then a month to arrive and your office didn’t call me to let me know they were in. I advised your office I had no other way of seeing since something had happened to my glasses and with my vision I can’t see without them. SECONDLY, I did not receive a copy of what I signed until two days ago through email (after 6 months) and I have proof of that since your assistant sent that to me to read over. That’s why I advise your future patients to read over your policies and make sure that they leave with a copy! Just because I didn’t have a pleasant visit, doesn’t make my 1/400 review honest. When I first tried the contact lenses on during the exam the right eye irritated me so bad and you just sat there advising me to give it a second to settle in my eye which it never did, so you gave me a new one to try on. I paid $400 for the contacts that you prescribed me so yes I wasn’t going to let money waste like that. My mistake was not saying anything sooner. I wasn’t asking for a refund but just to help me get a different brand of contact, that’s it. My prescription is good for a whole YEAR. I just wanted a new brand of contact. So once again the way you replied insulting me “assuming” I don’t know how to read shows what kind of dr you are. So anyways, future patients, you can see...
Read moreLet me start by saying that the front office staff & Dr. Were very nice. So #1 idk if the front desk staff is new but one of the girls had a problem with the eye machine the one that takes a picture. Not to biggie because it did get done. The DR. Himself was nice but it wouldn't hurt to have some extra training on how to handle kids getting their eye's checked. I felt like he did rush her a bit & didnt take the time to explain to her that if she needed to see thru lenses 1 & 2 or 3 & 4 again to just ask or to say again please. As it was her very first time. The office wasn't busy at all so extra time could have been possible. We didnt see Dr. Romy park it a guy cant remember his name but other than those 2 things it was fine. I just suggest the DR's get training on how to do an eye exam on children. He was also very good at telling you everything on what's going on. If the Drs get training for kids eye exams & had a bit of a better way & staff learn the machines a little better then i can see 5 stars. I do recommend going if your 11 & up kids younger than 10 with or without disability go to a children's...
