Supercuts Review – First and Last Visit

I arrived at Supercuts a few minutes before my scheduled appointment at 10:20 AM. The website states that the store opens at 10:00 AM, and my appointment was the very first slot of the day. I booked with Jasmine, but when I arrived, she was already servicing another customer—a man with a short haircut.

I asked how long it would be since I had a 12:00 PM meeting. My expectation was that I would be seen promptly at my scheduled time. Instead, by 11:00 AM, I still had not been serviced. Jasmine explained that my shampoo, blowout, and cut would take 45 minutes to an hour, which means there was no way I could have been finished before my meeting if I started that late.

When I explained my time constraint, she told me I shouldn’t have booked knowing I had a noon meeting. However, I booked the very first appointment online specifically to avoid delays, so this response was disappointing. She also mentioned that walk-ins are accepted—yet I don’t understand why a walk-in was taken before honoring the first appointment of the day.

This was my first visit to Supercuts, and Jasmine’s handling of the situation felt unprofessional and lacked empathy. Rather than offering a solution—such as a discount, rescheduling with priority, or an apology—she focused on defending her point of view.

There was also another staff member present, but Jasmine allowed her to leave. When she returned—with a push cart of groceries—Jasmine said she could service me, but by then my schedule no longer allowed it.

If Jasmine is a great stylist, I’ll never know, because I won’t be back. First impressions matter, and this one left me feeling unheard, undervalued, and frustrated.

The Stylists Jasmine at the Supercut on 4161 Lindell Blvd . Did a great job on my highlights, color, style. So, I return back to shop two week last and schedule appointment. Sat Feb 1st at 10 am. Stylists Jasmine call me the night before and told me she overbook appointment. We made arrangement to come at 1pm, she contact me again and said, she running behind and come we make the appt at 3pm that day. I return to shop at 2:50 pm. Stylist Jasmine said, she still running behind and I had to wait until she finish 4 Walk-in before she can start on my hair. This unacceptable especially since I made appointment and waited patiently . Because I really enjoy the color she did I reschedule any appointment couple days later. Again, she overbook with appointment and walk-in. I know things happen and so I tried again. When she made a schedule and she quoted me the price. I ask her why so high. I only paid less money for more work done to hair late time. I told I show, I paid her less money and left her a generous tip. This stylist Jasmine does great work but don't know how to manage her time and don't know Supercut policy and procedure walk-in and appointment. I hate to say but I believe this stylist Jasmine is overcharging Supercut customs because I only need style and touch up on color, per Stylist Jasmine I'll be following up my complained with Supercut Headquarters on...

I absolutely hate my hair right now! I’m 38 wks along went to get a cut a week ago to help me feel better about myself, I’m so body conscious right now, and I became a hair mannequin. The lady who called me back to cut my hair had not a clue what she was doing and it was obvious so who I believe is the store manager stepped in several time in the middle of his own client to instruct her, and ended up doing most of the cut anyway, all I asked for, was for them to remove the dead ends and frame my face, at the end he said “it’ll look better when I curl and style it”, it’s not. First of all I don’t style my hair everyday, I don’t even wear makeup! I just wanted a simple hair cut that would fall evenly and I ended up with a chopped shaggy dog look😭😭😭😭😭 I’m even more self conscious now my hair on the left side of my face looks like it was sliced clean across about a inch higher than the right side which looks more feathered and natural. If you look directly at the back of my head there’s also what looks like a large chunk of hair just missing, it’s completely uneven. I don’t even know how to try and fix it, I’m scared to go back and them just damage it...
