I used to go to the Orange County locations all the time and was really excited when a Temecula location opened. But honestly, the longer it’s been here, the more disappointed I get. The bread is still good, but the front staff and drink makers here are just terrible compared to the OC locations. The drinks are poorly made and the quality is nowhere near the same.
One time, I gave them my membership QR code and they told me they don’t scan for points what kind of nonsense is that? Another time, I asked for extra sea salt on my drink, and they randomly charged me extra. Just a week before, they didn’t charge for it. What is this? No OC location has ever charged extra for sea salt. To double check, I even went to the Buena Park location, asked for extra sea salt, and again no extra charge. So why is Temecula the only one doing this?
On top of that, the service is a mess. When customers are waiting in line, someone should come help ring people up, but I’ve waited several minutes with no one coming. Then when they finally do, they mess up the register three times over. Shouldn’t the people working the front be quick and sharp? Instead, the line just grows longer and longer every time I visit because the staff can’t keep up. The worst was when a white girl working at the front completely ignored customers and just went over to chat with the drink makers instead of helping customers. I literally stood there waiting to pay while she was busy gossiping. And when you actually ask something to any workers, all they says is, “Sorry, I don’t know.” I dont get it. This location has been open long enough now, poor training and bad service are not an excuse anymore.
I was so excited to finally have an 85°C in Temecula, but it’s become nothing but disappointment. The difference in quality and service compared to other locations is huge, and it really feels like no one here is managing properly. At this point, I’d rather just buy the bread and then go to Starbucks next door for drinks because at least they know how to...
Read moreI used the kiosk to order an iced tiger milk tea boba. I didn’t select any customization and clicked on the drink as is thinking it would be iced as that’s what is shown on the photo in the kiosk. However when I got my drink - it was hot. I nicely told the barista that I wanted it iced. She got very defensive and wouldn’t let me finish talking and kept trying to argue with me saying she was just “asking” but she hasn’t asked me anything aside from being defensive when I mentioned I thought i ordered iced and that’s what I wanted. She walked off as I was speaking. I was not upset at all until she kept talking over me. Very rude. it’s common sense, why would someone order a hot beverage when it’s 102 degrees outside, especially a boba beverage. I have never heard of hot boba. I was unhappy with how the barista spoke to me when I wasn’t even upset. She should have confirmed before making it if she was unsure. she also came back with an attitude after I said thank you when she came back with the re-made beverage. Her being defensive and having an attitude was uncalled for. She reacted before I could even tell her what I needed and before I could even tell her I’m not upset at all. She kept talking over me. That is what I am now upset about. I understand she may be overwhelmed with how busy it is since the location is new or she’s gotten mean customers but she did not need to take that out. I did not get her name but it is a bigger girl and looks native. Please coach...
Read moreHi… just wanted to inform you of the experience I had at your Temecula location earlier today. It was my first time ever visiting your business, however, many of my family members have and said good things about the food. The first thing I noticed is that the shelves were fairly empty but I was still able to find some things to try. I grabbed about 6-7 items and went to the line for the cashier. I also ordered a taro boba drink. My kids and I went to find a table in the dining room and all of the tables were dirty. So we sat at the least dirtiest table. I waited for my order number to be called for my taro drink. I noticed all of the trash cans were overflowing with trash. When my order number was called I headed to retrieve it. There was no boba straws in the 3-4 containers that were on the counter. So I stood there waiting for one of the “baristas” to finish their drink making to ask them about the straws. When one approached to call out an order I was ignored but I called out “do you guys have any more boba straws”. I still was not acknowledged but the girl grabbed a pack of straws from under the counter and shoved them in one of the containers. I grabbed a straw and said thanks but still was not acknowledged by any of the 3 girls working the drinks. No one smiled, greeted, or even acknowledged me. Not sure if that’s how you want your business ran, but just thought I’d point out some of the negative things I experienced as a first...
