Many times I have been treated extremely rudely, by management personal. Telling me I was buying too much stuff and thus holding up the line. Also EVERYTIME I try to use my daily 40% off coupon I was told that item wasn't allowed to be used for whatever the item was. I'm a college graduate and I can read what the coupon says... The sales clerks have been told that they were taking to long helping me find an item I was looking for ... I was told that there was a limit as to what I could buy from the clearance section , however there was NO SIGN saying that there was a limit. Mind you I have spent $3,000 in four months in their store. I even called corporate headquarters and no surprise they were very rude as well. I'm handicapped and need the use of there wheelchair... Again I was told it was not in working order and watched someone else go in front of me and use it... I have other people go in with me and they could not believe how I was treated!!! This is totally uncalled for!!! I have spoke to ex-employees who say this is the worst store they have EVER worked for and they would be written up if they spent too much time trying to help a customer find something ... This store is a joke and whatever their policies are they are much worse. I will not go back in that store for anything and will tell everyone I know about my experience's in...
Read moreTook a painting instruction class with Colleen at Hobby Lobby in Glens Falls location. In the Bob Ross style. I enjoyed every minute of it, the day went by super-fast. It's the second painting class I ever took. My 1st one a few years ago in Gloversville. Colleen is a big fan of Bob Ross & his family, a great teacher, & keeps her class moving in an efficient, yet relaxed vibe. Perfect class for the beginner or intermediate. We went from beginning to end, preparing the canvas, building our painting layer by layer, to the final touches. Because of her excellent skills, I learned painting techniques, care & use of painting tools, tips & tricks to save $ on a # of supplies needed to start painting at home. All in all, a great experience. I can't wait to utilize what I learned. I just hope I can remember it all! If I need a refresher, I would love to do it again. I posted her framed example painting. Then the step by step pics I had time to take during class. Then my...
Read moreWhile the selection of crafting supplies is huge, the way the check out system works is terrible. If the item you are purchasing doesn't have a price tag on it, an associate has to find the same item and then bring the replacement to the cashier. Instead of just scanning a barcode, it requires a lot of human input. When the store isn't busy, this isn't that much of a problem, but when the lines are long and they are short staffed, you can wind up waiting in line for 20-30 minutes. Also, it would seem that not having a modern inventory system in place would lead to tag swapping scams and plain old theft. I like the store ok but if they're remotely busy I just leave. I'm sure others feel the same. Step up to the 21st century Hobby Lobby and get a regular inventory...
