I normally don’t write negative reviews, I give the benefit of the doubt for a day gone bad. I am making an exception because I assume this is a facility paid for by the city, maybe I’m wrong. It just seems counter productive to be rude to visitors….at the Visitor Center. Extremely beautiful scenery and river. Was in town on business and looking at bringing several photography tours here and stopping at the Visitor center to buy local items. I was traveling with a Budget truck for an event and the outlet to charge my phone wasn’t working so I went into the visitor center to see if I could charge my phone for a minute. I found a plug in the hall and plugged in for a moment, the front desk person went by to get something in the back and I said my phone died and I’m trying to close a deal I just need to plug in for two minutes. She said nothing verbally but smiled and kept walking. I ended up plugging it in the restroom outlet right next to the hallway. No one was in the restroom and the one in the hallway wasn’t getting it above 1%. I was able to get it to five and answer the call for my closing. I had been on the call for 30 seconds when an extremely rude woman, I believe the other person called her Megan, with blond hair, walked in didn’t even look at me directly and said you can’t charge your phone in our building. I was like ok, may I ask why and she said “it’s a private property and we just have that policy. No one can charge a phone here.” I explained I was traveling for business and stranded here until I could charge it just a little more and asked if I could charge it for two more minutes. I started to ask if there is another spot I could use and she was like “You need to leave, there is probably another place nearby that will let you charge. We have had this before and had to ask people to leave.” I said I had told the other person that I needed to charge my phone for a few minutes and the other person said I didn’t ask permission. I reminder her, very kindly, if not some what baffled at this point that it is a vistor center. I thought that it would be more welcoming and she just stated again that I needed to leave. I said ok and walked out. As I was leaving the other person thanked her for asking me to leave and she said no problem. Sooooooo thankfully there was an actual private business that was more than helpful and let me use their electricity for 9 whole minutes to charge my phone. They even asked if there was anything else they could do to help me and offered me water. Maybe the city should send their out of town visitors there instead. I will be making the recommendation for the tours to skip Twin Falls. Which is a shame because the scenery was beautiful. But I was a white, professionally dressed, middle aged woman. I would hate to see if someone who was without any other options or means was actually stranded, they probably would have called the police.

Visiting the Twin Falls Visitor Center was truly a wonderful experience—definitely a 5‑star stop. Perched right on the edge of the Snake River Canyon, the center offers breathtaking views of the canyon and the 486‑foot‑high Perrine Bridge through its floor‑to‑ceiling windows . Inside, you’ll find a lovely mix of informative exhibits—including displays about the region’s geology, agricultural history, and even a historic Perrine stagecoach—plus maps, travel guides, and even complimentary coffee to help plan your next adventure . The building itself is clean and modern, with friendly, helpful staff, restrooms, and a well‑stocked gift shop full of local souvenirs and treats . If you’re lucky, you’ll also catch BASE jumpers leaping from the bridge—it’s quite the thrill to watch during your visit . Plus, it’s super convenient—ample parking (even Tesla superchargers!), access to scenic trails along the canyon rim, and space to stretch your legs or relax on the lawn . In short: beautiful views, great info, friendly vibe—absolutely worth the stop. 5 stars all the way.

I arrived at 4:55 and altho there were people, including staff, inside, an older woman clerk came to the door but wouldn't open it to allow me to use the restroom. I indicated it wasn't 5 o'clock yet but she just shook her head NO. That was not a nice greeting from a Visitor's Center! I don't know how to rate the actual Visitor's Center because I never got inside! I eventually wandered the grounds & actually walked across that magnificent bridge. WOW! I was on a multistate roadtrip and stopped here because it was recommended. I'm very glad I made the few mile detour in off the highway. A person would never guess this eye candy was close while racing along on the Interstate!

The Twin Falls visitor Center is honestly one of the nicest visitors centers I've visited!

Staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area.

There are clean bathrooms, bicycle parking, and Tesla EV chargers available. Dogs are welcome and they often have dog water inside and weather permitting, outside as well.

There is a great selection of local and Idaho-Specific clothing and collectables.

Finally, the outdoor grounds are spectacular with fantastic views of the Canyon and the Perrine Bridge. The local BASE jumpers often prep in the grass and you can chat with many of them about the sport.

The canyon rim bike path runs right through the area and there are e-bike and bicycle rentals available. A ride along the canyon is well worth it. If you plan to ride to Shoshone Falls be sure your legs are ready to climb back up to the rim, or rent an e-bike!

This place is worth a stop if you are passing through and we always take folks...
