IHOP — Restaurant in Twin Falls

Our waitress wasn't very good at waiting in us. It was really really slow in there with maybe 2 other customers at one point while we were there before they left. But she took our order and left came back awhile later with our food. Asked if we were good and i asked for some syrup for my strawberry and banana french toast and she said sure and brought me 2 to go cups of maple syrup. She set them an the table and walked away fast before I could ask her for strawberry or blueberry syrup, and she never came back by to check on us again so I could get her attention and ask for the other flavored syrup. So I tried to find someone else that could maybe help, but nope. Those girls were standing in the back talking together neither would look over neither checked on us until my son had finished his meal and mine sat untouched because I couldn't eat it dry. It was unfortunate that when there are so few customers in a place but you're still too busy to stop by and ask if everything is good and would we like anything else? She didn't even asked if there was a problem with my food when she obviously noticed it was untouched. A full plate exactly how she brought it. When I flagged her down and asked for the bill she just said sure and dropped it at the table and went back over to her corner to talk some more...so I paid for a 12$ breakfast I couldn't even eat. And left her the usual tip. But my family won't be going back. Not for that kind of service, or lack of. This was at 10am on Tuesday in twin falls...I was so disappointed with this experience. I can honestly say that this has been my best experience at an IHOP. Both service and food were amazing. I’ve completely boycotted this restaurant chain for over five years because no matter which location I went to I was always extremely disappointed and eventually just stopped going because it wasn’t worth the time or money. This time around we were on vacation with friends and family and my mom was craving crepes. Not wanting to be a brat and force our party of ten to break up I went along. But from beginning to end we were treated with care. The two younger female hosts that greeted us were so kind. Our ser ever Sherry was amazing! We had three separate groups that were scattered around the table, therefore she had to maneuver around to be able to take our orders and keep them within the same group. She checked up on us enough that I felt we weren’t forgotten and honestly I would not have taken the time to leave this review but I felt like it was rightfully deserved. Our food was quickly brought to us all. (Their also weren’t many other customers so that could have been a factor) our meals were still warm and delicious by the time they were set down!! went here today and not impressed. table was sticky top and bottom, wall were completely splattered in an “unknown substance.” service was terrible. our waitress was robotic, she hardly, no, didnt give any positive comments to us or other customers. the only time she payed attention was taking our orders. she scoffed at my grandmother and made mean, annoyed looks while she was choosing her food. i dont think i even saw her smile or be nice. not to mention, i went to the ladies restroom and i utterly regret it. both faucets were broken, the paper towl dispenser made a shrieking noise, and the stalls were disgusting. the doors opened weirdly. we didnt recieve our food quickly per se but not too bad. i ordered the quick breakfast and my grandma got an omelette. she says the eggs were tasteless and there was a sourcream sauce put on it that wasnt a positive addition. when we got our check, the quality was CERTAINLY not worth the expense. while we left, i saw tons of plates at the hotlight (where chefs put the plates out for the waiters) that semed to be cold and not served. it wasnt even a busy restaurant. least to say, building is disgusting, service was terrible, food was bland and we will not be coming here again. i have never had to experience something worse than what this mess of an ihop is,...
