Tandem Base — Attraction in Twin Falls

Sean is super nice, very professional, extremely experienced and someone that I easily felt comfortable doing my first tandem BASE jump with. From the moment I reached out to make the booking to the follow-up after the jump, Sean was easy to communicate with and fully responsive at all times.

I could only stay for 1 day in Twin Falls, and the limited number of inbound / outbound flights from TWF airport left me with a narrow 3 hour window of time that was even further truncated to 2 hours after my inbound flight was delayed. Despite the circumstances, Sean managed to work me into his busy schedule and was ready for me when I arrived from the airport.

Thankfully the weather was fully cooperative without high winds, and I was geared up and ready to go within 15 minutes. Sean walked me through the game plan very clearly, step by step, so I understood the safety procedures and what to expect at all times. I felt comfortable that I was in good hands and was put at ease by Sean's friendly demeanor. In addition to the GoPro that was provided and strapped to my wrist, Sean's awesome girlfriend offered to film my jump from the top of the bridge.

After a smooth running landing on the river bank, a boat was on stand by to bring us back to the pickup site. Hi-fives were given all around, and I was provided a marker to sign my name on the canvas roof of the boat, where people from all around the world have also signed their names to commemorate their BASE jumping experiences.

It would take me pages to write all the amazing things about my experience and Sean, but i'll try to highlight the most important. Sean has more than 6000 BASE jumps, he is the most experienced jumper out there. He invented tandem BASE! It is rare to ever meet the #1 in the world at anything, but Sean is it. He is the #1 professional in the world doing tandem BASE. Safety is his number 1 concern. He doesn't jump if conditions are not safe. He apprises you of every step. There is essentially nothing you can do to screw things up, you don't have to think about anything, he has thought of everything and all you need to do is be present. He checks and re-checks everything. He is very methodical, and would never miss a thing. His calm, confident and capable demeanor calmed my nerves and any concern I had. He has so much respect for the sport and everyone doing it or watching it. He is one of the coolest people I have ever met and it was great just getting to hang out with him. This is a once-in-life-time experience that I recommend to everyone and I would recommend anyone to do it with Sean. What Sean does is incredible, he allows anyone the opportunity to BASE jump when they otherwise would or could never do it. He brings the one of the most thrilling and dangerous sports to anyone.
