The mall is okay. Sort of a ghost town though almost no people in it at any point so if you like quiet shopping this is the place for you. Also a couple of stores within the mall are closed so it's a little bit like a ghost town between the lack of people and the empty businesses within the mall. One more thing, the hours really suck! This mall must be catered to children and elderly people because it rolls up its carpet and closes so darn early and it's summertime!! Whatever happened to summertime hours? I don't know maybe the magic Valley Mall has covid cuz people are really staying away from it. In conclusion, if you don't mind an empty mall with little to offer very little people and terrible hours of operation then this might be the mall for you. However, if you are looking for a mall that contains a variety of trendy upscale stores in a variety of different things within the mall including a steady of people inside the mall... You might want to try Boise or Idaho Falls. I give this mall three stars because it didn't smell nor was it dirty and those are also important factors. Also another factor is the stores that were in there with businesses that were open we're having really good sales. If you do go there check out Kohl's they are having some really great sales. I had never been in there before so that was part of the reason why I gave them three stars that store was open later than any of the other stores the reason it didn't get an extra star was 21 rue was closed and gone forever JCPenney's has some stupid hours like 7 or 8:00 pm. Not sure how they even stay in business with those stupid hours. I just started loving Rue21.. really bummed that they no longer exist there. You win some...
Read moreOh boy this is a clean, beautiful mall inside. As a person in charge of space presentation in my past, I can personally say... "Outstanding work here!"
The floors are kept shinning and clean! I've seen maintenance crews on her knees scrubbing a spot off.
Living plants are vibrant and refreshing. They really keep these looking great. Food court is clean and modern, with a location to plug in a laptop 120AC.
It has a really fun indoor play area for kids. It also has a rubber floor play area. So that's two play areas. Have some fun painted mural on the wall, and a generally comforting appearance about the whole Mall inside. It's really nice.
I like the mix of shops, some big chain, and some great local ones. This is the place to find shoes in the Magic Valley!
What's not to love? The chemical sensitive person need not step a foot here. They run a lot of unnatural fragrance. I do mean a lot! Very sickening. I can't hold my breath that long, and my clothes smell like it bad afterwords. You can't please everyone with music, but I can't remember hating music as bad as I do here. I do not need to listen to Musical vulgarities while trying to enjoy shopping.
The parking lot itself is typical Twin Falls nasty. They need to pressure wash this one. I literally Tiptoe Through the stupid parking lot to get to the mall.
(Hobby Lobby seems to manage a soothing stark contrast to my above complaints, and I'll be entering the mall from here...
Read moreAt JCPenney to replace Fila running shoes. I walked over 700 miles in them in the last year, but issues with my gait due to MS and Huntington's Disease caused them to excessively wear in spots that were becoming a trip hazard for me. The last couple days with the old pair limped by with strategically placed electrical tape but it made them too heavy. 😂
I was late getting to the store as it was closing time. I already knew which shoes I wanted and had a picture saved in my phone ... I asked gal at counter if she could please run the item number to see if my size was in stock, and once I knew that. I would gladly return tomorrow and get them so that I didn't have to keep them any later on a Saturday night. The Manager came over to see if I was being taken care of alright and I explained the shoe issue and that I literally wore the old pair out trying to POSTPONE being a ward of the VA as long as possible!! She said her dad was in the Navy also, and how much fun the VA was for them to deal with too, though we agreed it's gotten better. LOL. The MGR said the shoes I needed were in-stock, and as soon as a gal brought them up, she'd ring them up and have me on my way, saving ME a return trip tomorrow!!
Such a great JCP experience, and great example set for her crew that night, not just helping out a Veteran, but also that it helped their bottom line because a sale NOW, instead of a POSSIBLE sale tomorrow is...
