Michaels — Local services in Twin Falls

They have tons of stuff. I had an okay experience first time shopping there . I did get the item I wanted. I asked a clerk I found in an isle arranging things for a Brite yellow shirt they had it in smaller youth size just not in adult that I could see. The answer I got from her was. If it ain't over there then we ain't got it.. which might be true but #1 she didn't say they don't carry that color in adult size so she really didn't know. I did find other color that were displayed in another place of the store that were not in the place that she said if they had it would be there. Good thing I wasn't looking for dark red and asked her cause I would have found it and went to tell her she needs to be more people friendly or find another job because do to her I did not have 100%great experience I would have had. So apparently Michaels does balloons now. There are signs everywhere in and out of the stores advertising this. I don’t frequent Michael’s enough to know how long this has actually been going on, but when we took our two latex balloons to the front to pat for them, the cashier didn’t know how to fill and tie balloons, so he called for help. This took 10 minutes. Getting them filled with “helium” took about another 5 minutes because Michaels wants them to tie them a specific way involving just tying the ribbon around the balloon. It didn’t work and the pink leaked before we arrived home 15 minutes later. I tried the purple balloon the normal way to prevent that from leaking. The cheap helium didn’t even make it through their guaranteed 24 hours and was still inflated but no float maybe 18 hours later. Anyway, learn from me…the two stars is because the...

I love Michael's! It's always so neat and clean. The staff are wonderful, kind, understanding and very approachable. They have things at Michael's that I can't find at other craft stores, and their prices are comparable and sometimes cheaper than the competitor! The kids selections of arts and crafts is large and always fun to look around at. I'm obsessed with the discount section located in the back of the store, and the cheap, quick bins at the front!

Edit: I STILL love this store! I've started to take my painting pretty seriously, Michael's offers high quality, professional paints. I can't find Golden brand anywhere else in Twin Falls or surrounding areas. And the deals are amazing, BOGO free paints and canvases!? I just saved $80 at...
