HobbyTown — Attraction in Tyler

Overall great experience! ...but let me get to it. So, I walk in and eventually ask an older woman a question. She grimaced a bit and led me to Luke, a knowledgeable, cheerful and helpful young man. He showed me his aircraft, but upon learning I was looking for something to do with my 10 year old daughter, he recommended an rc car. Upon his enthusiasm, we picked the Granite 4x4. I was excited. My wife picked out a puzzle for our two year old and another for herself. We get to the register and are greeted by a cheerful young lady. Then the grimacer approaches.. Where she quite literally stands and observes the entire transaction with her arms folded. She even makes a comment which I perceived to insinuate that I may be attempting to steal a seven dollar kaleidoscope to accompany my three hundred dollar purchase. Luke is a seven star employee, which is why my rating averaged out to three stars. The lady who provided her overbearing prescence has made me feel absolutely insecure about my purchase today. I went in on 7-2 to seek help on a racing drone I was having issues with. The sales person, who I assume was the owner was extremely rude. While trying to tell him what the issue was, he never really paid attention as he was more worried who was coming in and out the front door. Second, because I purchased the drone online and not in his store, he told me everything online is complete garbage and trash. "Very stupid to purchase online and I will not touch it because then you can get made at me for breaking something". Very unprofessional business. If this "knowledgeable" hobby town owner wanted to sell some parts and make a little money, belittling people is not the smart way to go. I was really surprised at how good and nice there services is and how clean the store is. i have been in other RC stores and they are not very clean and there services is not that good or nice there people are very rude to there customers and don't care about the customers and always yell at them. i was got yelled at and they said i was too young to play with gas nitro RC trucks and i just left and told my family and friends not to go there because they will yell at you and tell that you that your too young or too old so that's when i came too hobby town in Tyler, TX and i never got yelled at and they never said i was too young or too old to play with gas nitro trucks so i stayed with them ever since. and they helped me pick out the style and size truck that...
