Let me tell you, this indoor play structure in the East Bay is a real rollercoaster of emotions, and by rollercoaster, I mean both the ups and downs you'll experience while visiting!

First off, let's talk about the layout. It's like a maze of fun, and my kids absolutely love it. There are more twists and turns than a telenovela, and my little ones can't get enough. They've got a ball pit that's deeper than my love for chocolate, a slide longer than my to-do list, and a small jump place that makes me reconsider my anti-jumping stance (adults should be allowed to jump too, right?).

But what really takes the cake (or should I say ice cream) is the ice cream machine. Picture this: a magical contraption that mixes ice cream on demand. It's like having a dessert genie in a corner, granting all your sugary wishes.

Now, here's where the plot thickens. The seating situation for us grown-ups is about as scarce as a unicorn sighting. Seriously, finding a place to rest your weary bones is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. And if you do manage to snag a spot, you'll quickly realize it's located next to the massage chairs. You'd think those would be a godsend, right? Wrong! They emit a never-ending chorus of loud beeping noises that will make you question the life choices that led you to this point.

So, while I'd love to give this place a solid 5-star rating, I have to dock a point for the limited seating and the ear-piercing massage chair symphony. But hey, if you can overlook those minor hiccups, you'll be in for a wild ride of indoor playtime adventure. Just be prepared to jump, slide, and dodge massage chair beeps like a ninja in a...

There's comes a point where a manager needs to understand their customers. I understand policy is policy, and I wasn't fighting it, but my situation was poorly mishandled.

My mother took my daughter here at 430 pm on 11/18 to have a good time. I work nearby and my plan was to pick her up at 530. I get here, and I mentioned I'm just here to pick up my daughter. But my daughter, and you know kids, wanted to show me what fun things she is doing. Well, I was denied entry because policy states "1 free adult".

I explained to the manager, I've been here before and was granted entry just for 5 minutes just so my daughter can show off what shes doing. He was still asking for $7 so I said nevermind. My mother was pretty upset because my father has entered before without penalty. Maybe we got lucky with whoever helped us before because they were lenient. Maybe the worker who helped us wasn't a manager and didn't care for the rules? Who knows.

Anyways, if policy is enforced when they feel like enforcing it, it gets confusing to the customer.

The manager who helped me didn't handle it well. He could have said, "I understand. I'm sorry. Please go in but next time, it will be $7". And then I would follow suit. We don't read their online website and we were unaware of the additional adult fee. Now we are. But it's too late. We're not coming back here.

To add, the manager was pretty defensive the whole time we were talking; comparing Jolly Roger to other local places and how they're more expensive and strict.

AFTER MY REVIEW, THE MANAGER CALLED ME & EXPLAINED THAT HE IS IN THE PROCESS OF FIXING THINGS AND APOLOGIZED FOR MY EXPERIENCE. I APPRECIATE THE FOLLOW UP AND TAKING MY REVIEW INTO CONSIDERATION. STILL DEBATING IF I WILL RETURN OR NOT. I HAVE TAKEN MY KIDS AND FAMILY HERE MULITPLE TIMES. I EVEN HAD A BIRTHDAY PARTY HERE FOR MY SON LAST JUNE. STAFF'S CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GOOD. JUST NOT THE SAME AS IT FIRST OPENED.

It used to be so clean! toys missing everywhere for the little kitchen area. not many blocks anymore. the floors are DISGUSTING, WHERE KIDS HAVE SHOES REMOVED. KIDS SOCKS ARE NOT THAT DIRTY TO HAVE THE BLUE MATTS FOR THE LITTLE KID AREA BE A GREY COLOR INSTEAD OF LIGHT BLUE. you used to find staff cleaning every hour there. No ventilation. will prolly not be returning. TAKE ACCOUNTABILLIY INSTEAD OF FINDING EXCUSES. HAVE YOU BEEN INSIDE THERE LATELY? PARENTS SAVE YOUR MONEY. FIND A DIFFERENT INDOOR PLAY...
