Wow, this was a really great experience! Captain Nolan and First Mate Spencer were very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The price seemed reasonable from what I researched with other locations in the area. The entire process was smooth, from booking to flight to deboarding the boat.
We were a group of 3 on the 9am session. We got the photo package add-on. PLEASE, keep in mind, THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS (they're water people 😉). I was a tad disappointed with the quality of the photos. They were dark, as the sun was behind us (the subject). It hadn't occurred to mention it beforehand. Even still, I'm not sure that they would have been able to make the accommodation, as they are on a schedule to ensure everyone is as close to their paid time slot (understandable). I was able to make edits to the photos, just enough to get a couple of decent ones out of the bunch. Also, be patient with the processing of your photos. They weren't available for 24hrs (I didn't notice anywhere in writing where this was specified and they didn't explain it at time of purchase in the shop). When I called about them the next day, the young lady I spoke with was very friendly and informative about the process.
Overall, it was a great first-time experience. We're looking forward to doing it again soon. I recommend booking your Parasailing trip with these...
Read moreOK my wife and I booked a flight after waiting for a half hour Pirate Parasail canceled due to inclement weather. That was very understandable. We have done this before and had a very pleasant experience. The girl working in the office never gave me back my credit card. It was a prepaid card that I was saving money all year as to surprise my wife for her birthday. Not only did I have to tell my wife that all the money I was saving for her in a secret account but I had to have a new card rush delivery to my home in Pennsylvania for a $25 fee. When I called that girl the next morning she acting like I was an idiot and got very rude to me saying I must have lost my card. There is no way I was very, very careful about that card I wanted my wife to have the best vacation and birthday ever. The girl little blond girl in the office was talking down to me and said I must have lost my card with a very stern tone in her voice. Then she was rude and hung up on me! Sorry honey you got caught stealing from the customers, it makes me wonder how many other people that you have done this to and got away with it. She gave me my I.D. but never my credit card. My wallet is just a little medal case and there was no way I lost my card, you ask for my I.D. and the card I booked the flight with and you never gave me my card back. We had to cut our family vacation a day...
Read morethis is a cross posted review I really wanted to take the time to shout out Pirate Parasailing. This is my 2nd time with them -- but they really went above and beyond to make sure our experience was a positive one. For starters, we had a cancellation so at last minute they worked it out to where we were able to pay a difference to let our other person go from Observer to Flyer!
My mother had a stroke last month or so which effected her vision, which in turn effects her balance / way of getting around. As you could imagine walking on a moving pier, a shaky boat, and down some steps would be difficult. However, Captain Nolan, Jack, and even the other two riders that were with us REALLY went above and beyond to help my mom. They assisted her, helped her up, guided her, and really accommodated her. Our main concern was having my mom stand up on edge of the boat while we were hooked up but instead they allowed my mom to sit down and they brought the hookups to her. I could go on and on.
The flight and experience itself was great! People were nice , landing and takeoff was smooth, and most importantly we felt safe!
Thanks Captain Nolan, Stephen & Jack for really making my mom's FIRST experience a great one. She had a great time and enjoyed her outing. I really cant thank you enough for making her feeling comfortable and at ease. We will be...
