Took a half day trip and slayed the Spanish mackerel. Ran into a technical difficulty (not their fault) and Captain Bill and Russ still made sure we got on the fish in no time! They weren’t going to let us go home disappointed and we definitely didn’t. They were energetic and positive from the start. Will definitely book again!

From crabs and flounders from the inlet, to the mackerel, seabass, tautog, and mahi mahi of the deep blue sea, CAPTAIN BILL and Playin hookey charters has been my go to for over a decade. Capt Bill aka the wild one always makes sure you’re having fun and most the times fill the box with eats for you and more while you’re on the PLAYIN HOOKEY! 5/5 would recommend!!!

Capt. Bill and his mate took us on a private charter to disperse my sister's ashes out at sea. It was outstanding. He was easy to work with in advance (responsive to texts, able to venmo the deposit). So cordial and professional the evening of the event. Would definitely recommend him for any trip. Straight...
