If this is how a toy store is "meant to be" , you're so much better off taking your kids to any one of the local tasting rooms where they will be treated warmly and with respect! We came shortly after opening on a weekday, we were the only ones in the shop. My daughter literally jumped for joy walking in and was excited to see the train set up. Read moreI have stopped in here just about every time I have been in Walla Walla. It is wonderful. I used to think many items were overpriced, but today I decided to verify this online. I was wrong. The item I ended up buying for $29.99 was $40 less than any online option I found.
There is a good selection of low cost trinkets that are great for young kids.
The city of Walla Walla really did the community and the world in general a disservice by forcing the removal of the mural. My daughter misses it. I miss it. This was something that did not need to be fought and it was a very good mural that brightened the neighborhood.

Read moreJust went into Inland Octopus and the person behind the counter demanded everyone is masked. My wife and I were masked and she offered a mask for our 6 year old which we offered to take. Our 4 year old has a hearing aid that gets pulled out by masks and we said she was medically exempt. The lady stated that "doesn't matter in her store". We're in a toy store and you're going to say a special need child doesn't matter? Even after trying to get the point accross she was defiant and steadfast.
