Hannah did an AMAZING job with my massage!! This swas my first time seeing her, so she asked me to come early so we could discuss any issues I had. I told her I had some issues with my shoulder and neck and she adjusted her massage techinque based on what I had said. (I was referred to Hannah by a friend who mentioned that Hannah did her "body work". I had not heard that term before, and previously considered massages a luxury.) Hannah's massage was the perfect combination of relaxing luxury and restorative touch. She is the only massage therapist who did not hurt my calves but instead applied the perfect amount of pressure. She suggested cupping for my back, which made me feel better after. I felt great both during and after the massage. Hannah made some observations during the massage that demonstrated a sound knowledge of anatomy and how to use massage to help people (well at least me) feel better. Hannah is amazing! I have had back pain my entire life and even after one session with her I feel incredibly less tense. She’s extremely thoughtful and makes sure to take in as much information as she can to ensure you get a service catered specifically to your needs. She also has such a calming presence when in your care you feel relaxed and safe. With everything happening right now I completely understand the apprehension of going to get a massage but Hannah was extremely cautious, wore a mask and a face shield and sanitized everything! I first saw Hannah for a massage a few months ago when I desperately needed one and just could not wait for Covid to be over. I checked with her about precautions she is taking (extensive cleaning and extra time between clients, client and therapist wear a mask at all times, additionally Hannah wears a face shield, and I believe she said she gets tested every week), and I felt safe enough to book. The massage plus reiki were so relaxing and exactly what I needed. The pressure was deep enough to release knots and the reiki left me feeling floaty and happy.
