Warning - better not give an honest Google review on these guys or they'll black list you!
Update on 1/19/22: I had forgotten about a review I left years ago. I scheduled an appointment with Wenatchee Appliance a couple weeks ago for a fridge repair only to get a call a few hours before the appointment time from them saying they refuse to come out. I was surprised, and after some evasive replys to my question about why they were cancelling, the secretary told me that George (the owner) remembered my review on Google and wouldn't do service for me anymore. I told her that I didn't recall this incident but said I would research it and I requested they call me back to discuss it. It's been a week plus with no return call from them. I've tried calling them several times to discuss this but they won't answer or return calls. I was very disappointed that a business would act so childishly. I would have been impressed if they would have kindly reminded me of my negative review and then asked for me to reconsider my feelings about them after showing me good service. I would have happily edited my review with positive accolades about a better experience. I love it when businesses make an effort to hear their customers concerns and fix mistakes or improve service. This business seems to have the opposite attitude.
(Below is my original review from years ago) George is the owner and he is not someone I would recommend. He does not return calls, is rude on the phone, and will be in and out as quick as he can get away with. He was supposed to install a new stove for us recently and upon one quick glance told us a contractor would have to do certain prep work. After the contractor came to look at it, and while on a phone call with George, the contractor told me "this guy just doesn't want to do the work". He didn't even look at the instructions for install (they were still in the sealed bag the stove came with). After the contractor explained to George that the instructions and install template showed different configuration options that wouldn't require contractor prep work, George rudely blurted "well why don't you just install it then"..... Sears appliance repair has been our...
Read moreLast week Home Depot scheduled for this person to come out today, to fix our Samsung washing machine. I read the reviews and I had my doubts if he was coming. Yesterday I called Wenatchee Appliance just to confirm my appointment, the answering machine picked up, and it was a man's voice on a cell phone, but I was unable to leave a message because the voicemail box was full. I called Home Depot Protection Plan, told them my concerns, that I did not think this gentleman was going to show for my appointment the next day, but we decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. I called Wenatchee Appliance first thing this morning, got through to a gentleman (owner?) and told him I was just confirming my appointment today, and he said he was not coming that he had no work order. He flat out refused to come, and was rude and hung up. I called Home Depot Protection Plan back, told them as I suspected this guy was not coming. Bad news is this guy is the only certified Samsung repair man in the area, and if your appliances have issues in the first year you get this guy. Since there was no one else that can service my appliance Home Depot has requested Samsung schedule someone, and supposedly Samsung will call me in 48 hours to schedule an appointment. My advice to all, if your protection plan assigns this person to you for an...
Read moreWe bought a fridge from Lowes. While under warranty, the freezer gasket keeps coming off the door. Lowes set up for a replacement and we were told this business would arrive between 8:00 a.m. and noon. The business was a no show, failed to call, and does not return calls.
Guess that makes Frigidaire's and Lowe's warranties worthless.
UPDATE: Lowes made good on the deal and a field tech replaced the magnet around the freezer door. The fridge has been working fine for a couple years since.
As to the response from "THE OWNER," note this review is WELL over a year old. So it stands.
Inasmuch as I put this review in writing, if it contains false information, you could sue me for liable.
Of course, if you were the repair business on call at the time, and the things I claimed were true, or if it otherwise was shown your suit was frivolous (i.e., my written review was not false), I could seek CR11 sanctions for a frivolous suit, and counter sue (for a small fee).
Said another way, you would do well to back off, and admit you had some pretty incompetent agents. And, in the future, if you find a job is one hundred twenty minutes (120 minutes) away, call and cancel in advance, rather than leave the customer hanging.
In the end, we have REASONABLE suspicions as to why you no longer handle...
