I've held my tongue long enough..
Due to the unprofessional and inexperence front desk I've had an "issue" every time I've gone to this pool. I am a disabled athlete so I would like to use the pool here rather than at my gym. I've used their website to make a rez each time, I've gone at my designated time and each time there's always a reason why I can't enter the pool. I've literally seen other regulars who just get waved on through, without scannning. The way the staff treats People of Color, I.E. BLACK People is disgusting and needs to change. Yes i'm a resident. Yes, I have a reservation. Yes, can you please hold the big heavy metal door for me while I try to walk in with my crutches. How is it you hold the door for every abled person but you won't hold the door for the Black disabled person?!? Please answer me this !
Later as I leave my belongings in the unattended area since there are no secured spots, I'm being asked "Are those my things" You mean my bookbag and crutches that I walked in with? Yes these are my things. I have been a West Hollywood resident for 15 years, long before this pool transformation, so to be talked down to by some people who have to drive down from the valley who don't know the area or common decency is a joke. Do Better.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat pool, unsafe womenās locker room. No door and you can see into it from the menās, and both are entrances are colored pink which just adds to the suspense that a guy can even walk in on accident. The stalls on deck also lack a solid door and itās just small bathroom stall door barely better than a curtain with a ton of cracks, so thereās really not an actual closed door area for womenās privacy. It is extremely uncomfortable to change, and I wouldnāt let my kids change there either. Locker rooms are hidden, not divided at the entrance per standard for safety. Itās just verrrrry uncomfortable to change or shower when at all the changing areas you can hear and see men right next to you. But the pool is nice, I just like to shower after swimming so I havenāt been back.
updateā¦judging by the sarcastic response, thereās zero concern about safety of women or children swimmers. I would 100% recommend to the aquatics manager to read up on how this kind of attitude worked out at the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center a few...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe pool is fantastic. Itās beautiful with a great view and kept clean.
Everything else about this place sucks. You have to book a time to swim laps a week in advance. Many times you have to share a lane with 2 or 3 other people of varying skill levels.
Whoever designed the locker rooms has obviously never used one. Thereās no place to hang a bag, no place to set soaps etc while showering. Just a tiny narrow shower stall with no cutouts or hooks for anything. The changing area is shoved into a tiny corner with one bench⦠thereās no space for patrons to change or get to lockers while someone is changing. The holes on the locker locks are too small for a normal master lock to fit through.
Thereās a couple of shower stalls on the pool level that are decent but they tend to be taken quickly and the sensor on the toilets causes them to flush every 90 seconds or so which messes with the water temperature.
I go cause itās whatās available but I wouldnāt...
