First time here and completely disappointed, will not go back. $260 is insane for the services I got. Mind you Iām coming in to pamper myself for my birthday so Iām excited. I called in ahead of time to ask them if they did a particular service, they had to check and get back to me. When they said yes I headed in.
I sit down to do my toes and the guy asks me what shape I want, I let him know I wanted square and his response was āIāll try my best.ā Should have been my first red flag and I should have got up and left from there. They ask if I wanted to do my nails too, I let them know I didnāt have time since they would be closing in an hour and a half. They said they would do it at the same time. Ok convenient I thought.
They guy came and started my nails and had glued a tip on crooked I brought it to his attention and his words exactly were āoh itās ok, Iāll file itā it was so sideways that I asked him if he was sure that would work. He said yea. When he cut the down I asked for shorter and he kept pushing me to get long nails (I understand why now he was up charging me and kept adding things onto my service that I didnāt ask for, didnāt find out till I paid) Iām sitting there the entire time telling myself to just trust the process. When he puts the acrylic on and itās still very visibly crooked and Iām telling him but he pays no mind. I thought in my head is this happening right now?! I feel like he was trying to convince me the entire time that I liked them, he kept telling me āoh you love themā āoh you think they so cuteā not in an asking way but a confident telling me that I liked them. He then starts to do the 3D design and does not let me see and when I peaked over to see how it looked before it was cured under the light he pushed it under right away before I could see it. So when I pulled it out and it had already hardened it looked as if there was a blob of glue just right on the tip of my nails. If it was something he was unable to do he should have been upfront and honest and not made it about the money. I would have been way more understanding if he was honest because as a nail tech myself I understand we cannot do everything I would have been ok if he couldnāt I would have chose something else or a different nail shop. My nails were sticky when finished they were not wiped off properly when done.
My toes came out more decent than my hands, and that even had one toe nail bigger and wider than the other, and the pedicure interfered with my nails so he could not do the pedicure properly, because the massage would mess up him painting my nails. However he finished when it came time to the 3D design.
I had high hopes for this place but it truly seems they charge you so much based off location and the environment of the place and not the quality of work that is provided. I knew walking in is be paying a ridiculous price because of what it looked like, but it was for my birthday and if I got what I paid for I would have been happy and left without the complaint. I would HIGHLY recommend choosing a different nail salon, where you will receive better quality of work. Donāt waste your money here.
First photo is what I asked for (the one with the heart on the finger) the others are what I left with. Would leave no...
Read moreThis place has potential, it looks amazing and feels like a spa. I was greeted by a very nice employee and led to the pedicure area. I had an appointment but still waited 20 minutes sitting in the pedicure chair, by the time the tech arrived my water was cold and was never warmed. The tech was friendly and nice, but when I said what color I wanted she essentially told me it wasn't a good idea and brought a different one. It looked somewhat similar so I said okay but once on it was way too pink. She also left my nails a bit jagged and the polish job itself was subpar. At this point it had already been over an hour and I was too exhausted with the whole experience to have it redone so I just went with it. During the pedicure a second nail tech came to start working on my fingernails, which was a great idea, however she was clearly inexperienced. I had a pink dip on and after soaking it and filing it with the machine there was still some pink left and she just said, your nails are still pink and then proceeded with the dip manicure. It was supposed to be a French ombré, I even specifically noted ombré in my appointment booking. However after many failed attempts it was clear she was unable to do that type of nail design. She apologized and seemed frazzled so I told her that's okay we can just do a French manicure instead. She moved me to a table and proceeded to do a French manicure dip that turned out terrible. It was clear again she was new because she went very slow and seemed to go back and forth between powders in a way I've never seen. When it was done it was cloudy where it should've been slightly pink and she just said it was because my nails were still pink underneath, which doesn't even make sense and was her fault because she didn't remove it properly. She clearly recognized it wasn't good because she offered to put color over it, which was also confusing. I didn't want that and again was so exhausted and anxious from the experience and just wanted to leave so I said just leave it. At checkout the girl didn't even ask how it was and very quickly had me check out. She even asked to look at my nails and I said it didn't turn out how I wanted and she just brushed it off. To top it off their prices are really high, which I was fine with assuming I was getting this elevated experience but it ended up being a huge disappointment. I am now going today to have my nails redone somewhere else, which is so frustrating as it's more money and time. And of course this was all for a wedding I had the next day so now everything is rushed. So incredibly disappointed and frustrated with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām extremely disappointed in this salon. I went it on my day off in gym clothes just as I have on the multiple occasions with my 6 years daughter only this time I also had my 5 year old niece.
When I got there I was greeted and sat down and was told they would be right back to get my drink order. I discussed each of the girls nails with colors. Myself and daughter both chose the tropical pedicure with gel as we have done before. I then had a completely different associate come and ask with the prices written down and ask if I was okay with paying that amount, I smiled and carried on with the service.
My niece was placed in the middle and my daughter a seat down from her. I see the lady ask several others about their drinks never asking us again for ours, again not a big deal. They bring out my hot pillow and my daughter asks where hers was, the nail tech CLEARLY heard her ask and ignored her. My daughter has gotten her nails done since she was 3 she knows what she is asking for and to be ignored I could see in face how uncomfortable she was.
Again I proceeded with service trying to just push through so my daughter and niece could enjoy their time. My nieces nail tech was extremely rude she kept grabbing her legs and yanking them into the position she wanted. I did tell my niece to stay still but she is 5 and was ticklish from her feet being touched. AGAIN I watch the lady come around again and ask another group sat a few chairs down for the drink order not even once acknowledging me.
At this point Iāve been there over 25 minutes and I honestly thought maybe it was just me overthinking it, that is until the tech finishes my nieces toes that she rushed through and then approached me again asking if I was sure about the amount. Like who does that? If I said it the first time and clearly Iāve been to this high end nail salon before I knew and understood I was paying a higher price for service, why would you ask me again. Also Iāve been to this location several times NEVER once being asked about the price.
I spoke with the manager that didn't even say Im sorry only gave a reason of " language barrier. I paid for the service they completed and left.
one of the reasons I go to this salon is for the higher end and service to pamper myself and the people I bring with me, I myself work in the service industry so I get it, stuff happens but for not a single apology to even attempt almost felt like it was on purpose. My one little review will get lost and not make difference but my 6 year daughter will have the memory of today and that is something the staff should be...
