My kids and I did both the mini golf and the electric go-karts.
The mini golf is 18 holes. I was excited about the concept of a more realistic putting service. Unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations.
First, we were not able to choose our putter. It was handed to me, and it was not the correct size. I'm 6' tall and this putter was way too long.
Second, poorly maintained. The course had some trash around the course and a lot of mulch from the landscaping that most likely invaded the surface after a rain. But it had obviously been there a while. We were constantly having to try and remove them as obstacles from our line. Turf was loose in a few areas that prevented a realistic putting experience.
Third, on a few of the holes, the cup was raised slightly above the putting surface, so you had next to no chance of putting it in from any distance.
Finally, there very few of the holes where you had a realistic hole-in-one opportunity. #ThisIsNotPopStroke
The go-karts were next. Me and my teenage kids rode the karts. Here is my list of disappointments.
A lot of instructions to read. I'm not a gamer, so I was not familiar with all the power up options. Might take a few times to get the hang of this. No safety checks to see if belts were fastened. I saw an employee adjust a steering wheel for one patron, but I didn't have that option or have time to figure it out before it was our turn. I don't know if they had two sizes of karts (adults, kids), but no way I could keep my feet in the kart and positioned on the pedals. Again, no safety check or seat adjustment etc. The course design is okay, except for one big blunder. The entrance to the pits is at the bottom of a pretty steep hill where you reach top speed. On the final lap, the karts stop outside the pits in a line. I was hit from behind twice so hard it nearly knocked the wind out of me and gave me a bit of whiplash. The brakes don't allow you to stop quickly enough from that speed. You need a rearview mirror to see it coming. The tokens on the course were faded and hard to read. Our race was stopped at least 3 different times because kids too small or inexperienced caused crashes or couldn't control their kart.
Overall, it has the potential to be a really fun time, but poor execution and service make it difficult...
Read moreAbsolutely sucked. Im thin and athletic, my son is 6 years old, so neither of us are very wide at all. We almost didn't fit in the double kart, which was our only option seeing as how he is too young to ride on his own. If you're over 5'6" you're going to have trouble with these karts. Im tall and couldnt get my leg between the side wall of the kart and the steering wheel so I had no brakes. There isnt any adjustment in the steering column so there wasn't anything to be done. I have a large bruise on my hip and the inside of my shin on my left leg from the side wall of the kart and the steering wheel. My wife and older son rode together and their kart malfunctioned, stopping race 3 or 4 times. They gave us the option to run another race for free which I adamantly declined to do since the first one was so incredibly uncomfortable. So I guess thats the thing: I wouldn't ride...
Read moreAccording to their Google page they do not close until 9:30pm. My party arrived at 7:03pm and there was not a soul insight and all the doors looked boarded up. They should update their Google page if their hours have changed. My four year old was highly disappointed....
Edited: my family did give it another chance. They had fun. I did not. My 4 year old and my self rode together while the carts were pretty fast I got stuck behind Another patron who kept cutting us off And break checking and on once I did hit him and I got punished by the employees limiting my speed for the rest of the race. So for that I'll raise my review for the fact my family had fun. But I personally do not feel it should be raised and this establishment cemented my hatred for...
