If youâre a fan of fantasy, anime, video games, or action movies, The Point is an absolute hidden gem. From the moment we stepped inside, we were struck by how quiet and peaceful the shop felt, especially surprising considering the vibrant energy of the Dells right outside the door. It was a perfect break from the crowds and noise, and a fun space to explore at our own pace.
The staff were friendly and approachable, quick to offer help but never pushy. They clearly know their inventory and are excited to chat with fellow fans about favorite shows, games, and movies. It really added to the welcoming vibe of the store.
The selection is where The Point truly shines. They have a huge variety of swords, daggers, axes, and prop weapons; all beautifully displayed and ranging from ornate collectibles to budget-friendly replicas. Whether you're into anime, video games, fantasy series, or movies, chances are you'll find a weapon or item from your favorite world. Itâs one of those âyou name it, theyâve got itâ kind of places. Their range is impressively curated.
If youâre a collector, cosplayer, or just a fan of unique items, The Point is a must-stop in the Dells. Itâs quiet, quirky, and packed with cool finds. We loved itâand weâll definitely be back next time...
Read moreI commemorate them for starting a sword store, however much of the store seems rather disinteresting to me. A lot of unneeded anime and fantasy stuff and not enough historically accurate stuff if you ask me, plus a lot of it is wall hangers. Not a lot of renaissance-era swords either, plus they switched out a rapier with a mirror finish for one that is blackened, which is a $60 or so sword they're selling for I believe it was $125. That's double the price +$5, and surely they need to make a profit and it IS the Dells after all, but stuff like that won't fly with well-researched buyers. I'm not one for the steampunk decor, anime wall hangers and foam/wooden, but I suppose that kind of stuff sells. The guy who was attending the store at the time we came was a nice guy who was well-researched on quite a bit of the stuff, however he did think a Scottish claymore was French and a few other things, but yeah.
Overall I can't complain too badly about some of the things simply because the cheaper and fantasy swords are not my taste, but I still think it's a neat place. If you're in the area, there are few better places to get a neat souvenir, and...
Read moreHorrible customer service. We were there over a month ago, when trying to complete the purchase they ran our card, it charged us but did not show in their computer, so the employee requested we swipe the card again- now we have been charged twice and it is still not showing in their system. At this point the manager is brought over, he suggests we swipe the card a third time. This doesnât make any sense so we just ask for the merchandise and a refund for the second charge. He refused to give is the merchandise as it was ânot showing in the systemâ. Left with over $200 with of charges and no items. We were promised a refund in 3-5 days, itâs now been 5 weeks and nothing. Last we called, the manager is now acting like he doesnât remember this situation at all even though he gave us every reassurance and spent over 30 mins talking with us...
