I was super excited for this and left with the entire group disappointed. The people working were extremely kind and welcoming, and explained how the track is part go kart and part Mario Kart. The experience left A LOT to be desired. Every person in the group of six said it was terrible.
The karts offer little room for taller adults (six foot) to move their legs to control the peddles. If you let your foot rest it hits the brake (and the kart literally yells at you out a speaker), if you raise your leg the wheel is in the way (wheels are adjustable but didnât help). The coins, turtle mode, mud bogs, etc. is a cool idea but you never felt like you were collecting enough to go full speed, and thereâs no display to see what you haveâjust a speaker near your ear constantly saying things that barely made sense and your kart constantly slowing down. The workers are also telling you to constantly slow down to avoid crashing on the downhill, and it seems like such a design flaw I see a major injury happening here. The track wasnât enjoyable for six people, let alone when theyâre running at full capacity.
It just wasnât fun, not worth the $10, and itâs a cool idea but classic go karts wouldâve been so much better, even if...
Read moreThis Go Kart is a peculiar place. The karts are amazing, and all of the equipment is safe and new. I've been to many Go Kart places, raced and won races with real karts on big outdoor tracks, so I think I have plenty of experience about this activity. Imo, this track while new is poorly designed because they didn't have enough area to build it, so they went vertical, which is still not the problem. What I find strange is that they control all of the electric karts and make them behave and stop by their employees but not the drivers. If you have 10 y.o. children this might be a good thing, this is the first time in hundred of my experiences that I had no idea why the kart accelerates this fast or stop even though I didn't press any of the pedals. I get the idea with the Mario kart, but it's a little pity that these good karts are wasted on such a poor idea. Basically you couldn't race on this track, though I won all 3 races by coins/points, I dont think I won cause while collecting coins I got passed many times. In the end, you could still have fun on the track, but this activity won't show who is the best driver as pure...
Read moreReal life Mario Karts! Great experience, especially if your soft and dislike riding a real go kart that is loud, bumpy smelly and lingers with you after youâre off the track.
All the staff was amazing and friendly. The karts a totally electric and as long as you know how to drive a race track the power ups are placed perfectly so that you never run out of upgrades.
If you grew up playing Mario karts and wish to give your city kids a true electric gaming challenge this is it. My family strongly recommends this track for both old school go kart riders and those who believe Mario karts is...
