Review of Original Wisconsin Dells Fudge
If youâre looking for delicious, homemade fudge in Wisconsin Dells, Original Wisconsin Dells Fudge is a fantastic little shop to check out! This is a small, cozy spot with a super friendly staff, a great selection of both regular and sugar-free treats, and reasonable prices. We had a great time chatting with the staffâthey made the experience even more enjoyable with their warm, welcoming attitude.
The Selection â Plenty to Choose From!
For a small shop, they offer tons of options when it comes to candy and fudge. What really stood out for us was their sugar-free selectionâwhich is hard to find in most places! They carry: â Fudge in various flavors â Fresh, creamy, and rich! â Chocolate treats & candies â Including peanut butter cups, peppermint patties, and more. â Sugar-Free Options â This was a huge plus! We picked up their sugar-free peanut butter cups and peppermint patties, and they were shockingly goodâsmooth, flavorful, and satisfying without any weird aftertaste.
Taste & Quality
The treats we bought were fresh and high-quality, which is exactly what youâd hope for from a small fudge shop. The sugar-free peanut butter cups had a rich chocolate coating with a smooth peanut butter center, and the peppermint patties had that refreshing minty flavor that paired perfectly with the chocolate. Itâs rare to find sugar-free candy that actually tastes as good as the real thing, but these definitely did!
Atmosphere & Customer Service
Even though itâs a small shop, the experience was big on charm. The staff was incredibly friendly and fun to talk to, making us feel right at home. Itâs clear they care about their customers and take pride in their sweets.
Pricing & Value
Compared to other fudge shops, their prices were very reasonable. For the quality youâre getting, itâs well worth it, especially if you love classic handmade fudge or need a sugar-free option.
Final Verdict â A Hidden Gem in the Dells!
Original Wisconsin Dells Fudge is a small but mighty shop with amazing treats, great service, and fair prices. Whether you want traditional fudge or a rare sugar-free option that actually tastes great, this is a must-visit in the Dells!
Pros: â Delicious, high-quality fudge and chocolates â Great sugar-free selection â Super friendly and welcoming staff â Cozy, charming atmosphere â Reasonable prices
Cons: â Small shop, so it can get a little crowded at times
Overall Rating: 10/10 â Highly Recommend!

Read moreWalked in to grab a pound of fudge on the way out of the Dells, first time there, and I asked my wife if she wanted any, she said no, and the older overweight blonde lady first decided to make a comment about my wife wanting pasta instead of fudge. I asked hey how much is one of these blocks, not sure what weight or price each block was and she yelled at us that we couldnât read their sign. Admittedly, I didnât see the sign. Wish I did. Wouldâve gotten some fudge. When I decided not to give them my money, she yelled at us on the way out saying âthe sign is right in front of your face!â Soooo thatâs why Iâm here. I think she was trying to keep the inventory for herself.
Edit: it was the Wisconsin dells location on the Main Street near the huckleberry ice cream. Maybe a block down. There were two workers working, it was Sunday evening. There was a young African American girl, she was making fudge. Seemed like a really sweet girl, and she even seemed to say something to your other worker on our way out. But it was your other evening worker. My wife is saying she was probably in her 40âs...
Read moreThey have a sign near the register asking you to pay with cash if under a certain amount. I was buying $40.00 worth of fudge and handed them a $100 dollar bill. They refused to take it and requested I use my card. I donât understand how an establishment in the middle of Wisconsin Dells, 4th of July weekend, in the middle of the day, isnât prepared to accept legal tender of all denominations. She didnât even check the drawer to see if she could accept it, she just outright refused. Itâs not like I was purchasing 1 solitary chocolate pretzel. I was buying $40.00 worth fudge. ON TOP OF IT ALL: the cookies and cream fudge tastes like it was made with raw sewage water. So now I have a $15.00 brick of disgusting sewage and cream fudge that is going straight in the trash. I wish I wasnât in a hurry to get back home as there are 5 other fudge makers on the street that I would rather give my business to, as should you, if you are lucky enough to read the review before going in. If they would have allowed people to taste this trash before buying then theyâd surely be out of...
