Smallish looking establishment on arrival, nestled among many other cloth and tailor shops. The main difference from the others is their amazing unending stream of customers that either come for tailoring or collecting/trying out clothes. They don't even have a proper dressing room... now that we have established the "rustic" nature of the shop, their service, speed, and value is amazing! We were in town for 4 days and went in on the first day for a couple of pieces. The next day on collecting the first batch we liked it so much we got a few more made. Then on the third day, we went back to collect and had a couple of favorites repeated with different cloth and slight modifications. My spouse is really picky about clothes and it was a shock to realize that we ended up with about 19 pieces. Talk I about voting with your wallet. We probably saved a ton on the cost of the pieces we got. Mostly pure silks and brocade/chiffon. Downside? Not really, but we had to buy an extra luggage to pack the new clothes in. Definitely worth checking out, and definitely planning on stopping by again if travel goes anywhere within...

THE BEST TAILORING EXPERIENCE we could have had. We loved Hoi An so much and a big part of that was these lovely ladies. A family run business that kept us extending and extending our stay in the city. Between me and my friend we ordered over 30 items which were all perfect. If there was ever anything we wanted changing once we tried our items on they were happy to do it three or even four times. They had great English, so there is no doubt they’ll understand what you are wanting tailored. There was so much material to choose from. We weren’t sure where to go when we arrived as the choice was overwhelming. We had seen a few places on TikTok but when we went they were often overcrowded and we didn’t feel very seen to, rather rushed. Da Phuong 50 was so different, we sat and spoke about different options for as long as we wanted. We weren’t initially planning to get as much as we did but once we had brought one thing each and knew we loved it, and the quality, we couldn’t stop. It was a lucky find.
