At first we couldn't find a place, but stepped out of the narrow alley and found it by accident on a bigger road. The food was at a very reasonable price. We ordered chicken in a clay pot which arrived still boiling/frying. We really liked the dish, in comparison, in the morning we were in Ba Na Hills and ate at the buffet, which alowed us to try many different dishes, but none of them was so tasty as the chicken at this place! The owner was very nice, hard working lady, she does what she can to maintain her family: cooks at the restaurant, offers cooking classes in small private groups. I am sure it was her idea for a husband to paint on the T-shirts and sell them to people who like the local crafts. I am amazed by local people who are so hard working and creative and always keep smiling no matter how tired they are. We wish Ann the best and hope that you also enjoy...

When confronted the owner said that the rice wasn't good because it comes from her home... After some arguing she went to get (somewhat) fresher rice from the neighbours. That was after we were finished eating most of our meal though... On top of that, the tofu was not fresh, the morning glory was bland and swimming in a transparent brown broth (not from soya sauce, it was unlike we've seen anywhere else) and the curry we ordered tasted of dish-washing liquid. I would not recommend going to this restaurant. How does this place have such...
Read morewe did a cooking class here (2 people) and it was one of my favourite experiences in Hoi An! it was privately run, and Anh took us to the market to shop together - it felt really personal and authentic. On top of introducing us to the ingredients, she helped to take many beautiful photos of us and made sure we wrote the recipes down so we can cook them in the future! she even gave us some ingredients and tools as souvenirs. It was really worth it in price, as it was more private and interactive in comparison to another (large) group cooking class we did. Anh lets you customise your dishes as well - you pick what you want to learn (4 dishes)! Will 100% recommend coming here to learn if you’re looking for something to...
