Joy Hostel — Hotel in City of Sarajevo

I personally wouldn't ever stay here again. This is a copy of a message I sent when I left.

"Firstly thank you for allowing me to change the date of my stay.

Secondly, before I put up my review I wanted to give my feedback.

The hostel has huge potential and has been refurbished to a great standard and the location is brilliant.

However its standards in relation to cleanliness is disgusting.

I could shower this morning because the bathroom is revolting. I've never been in such a dirty room. There wasn't even toilet roll.

The skirting boards were thick with dust as were surfaces.

My bed was covered in hair. The sheet was full of holes.

Yes cheap but totally unacceptable."

I understand that since I was not there myself, only volunteers were helping to take care of it recently, so it may not be done well enough.

I will pay attention to this and wish you a pleasant trip."

In a further message the host suggested I "broke rules ".

This might be because I had one can if beer (I can't think of anything else I might have done wrong 🤷).

Anyway cheap yes, good location yes, clean no.
