We weren't originally going to stay here, but our original hostel was so awful that we wandered the streets for a while looking for somewhere else and found this place (I've posted a separate review for where we spent our first night).||Costa Patagonica is clean, has good hot water with excellent pressure, there is heating that you can control and cable TV in the rooms. Wifi is included.||And the thing that really sold it - you have a kettle! We'd been in South America for nearly 3 months by this stage and this was the first time we'd had a kettle! I was beyond happy!!!||Breakfasts are normal South American- bread, jam, cake, ham and cheese, juice and coffee/tea. On our final morning we had to leave really early so Claudia the owner (who is excellent) came along the night before with a packed breakfast for us!||All in all, clean, comfortable and excellent service. You aren't right in the centre of town, but you are only 10 minutes walking from it and you can't miss it - it's on the same road as the hostel.||A word on Puerto Natales generally - expect power cuts, internet outages and like everywhere else in Chile there are lots of stay dogs.||Stay here....
Read moreWe spent 2 nights in this hostal. One night before we went to the Torres del Paine National Park and one night after we got back. The owner was friendly but we had some problems finding here AND the entrance of the hostal. Our first night was rather unpleasant too. There was a lot of wind (we are in Patagonia!) which caused a lot of noise and a rattling door. We had turned off the gas stove because it seemed quite old but then we hardly got any sleep because it was freezing cold inside our room. Luckily Claudia was so kind to prepare breakfast for us around 6.45 as we were leaving early. She aslo allowed us to leave our backpacks in the hostal until we got back. ||||Our second stay was a lot more enjoyable. We got a different room which was a lot cosier, warmer and definitely more quiet! If our first night would have been like this we would certainly recommend this place to...
Read moreThe hostel is very simple, the rooms as well. Good and clean beds, the shower could be better but it works well after a long trekking day.||||The breakfast is included and it's served in the next door building.||||Good location, it's not in the "downtown" but you can walk to very good restaurants and cafes nearby.||||The best part of the hostel is the staff. Claudia was extremelly helpfull and very attentive to every detail. She always asked what time we were going to have breakfast to make everything fresh. She called our tourism company to check if our excursion was ok, etc.||||I really recomend the hostel if your objective is to do a bed-and-breakfast. The price and the staff compensates the simple...
