As someone new to the hostel scene these guys have it down pat. This is my first solo adventure abroad and I was greeted by Ana when I arrived, besides the usual instructions she was so helpful and had so much information for me, she even helped me book my day tour - it was all just easy. To make it better the guys come and organise a group dinner before heading to Charlie’s bar, which was an amazing way to make you feel comfortable and not alone, and basically gives you instant friends, vibes and good laughs all round. The rooms were comfy and quite modern, the pizza and beer pong Friday was also an awesome bonus. Personally I felt at home with my friends instantly, I’m still early in my trip but I can almost vouch my experience in split will be my best thanks to booking this hostel. The location is amazing, so close to everything and I just don’t have anything negative to say, I’ll...
Read moreThe hostel was really far away from our expectations!
We saw a rating of 10, so we thought that it was going to be amazing! They said that the had laundry (lie, they don't), they said that they had coffee area ( they don't), they said that they had then ( nothing even close!), and they said that the bathroom was private inside the room, we stayed in a room for 7 people, with almost no plugs and the bathroom was outside the room and shared with the reception, so there are a lot of people using that bathroom, impossible to keep it clean and not busy.
About the bar that they recommend (Charles)... I really like hostels bars, but this one was really bad! People from the bar don't allow you to stay in the street, so you will not make noise, inside there are a lot of people smoking, and it was really crowded, impossible to move inside, the one in front had a non-smoking sign, but everyone...
Read moreI went interrailing for a month and stayed in a lot of different hostels all over Europe. This one was by far my favourite. The staff are super friendly and they make a serious effort to develop a sense of community and for you to get to know the other people staying in the hostel. There are drinking games every other day with the Charlie's bar staff, who are some of the friendliest people you'll meet. They take you to Charlie's bar for a few hours after the drinking games, which is always fun, then they'll take everyone along to one of the clubs in split where they'll make sure you don't have to pay an entry fee. The rooms and facilities are pretty basic but that's all you really need anyway. The vibe is great. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to meet new people, party and generally have...
