I don't even know where to start really, i arrived around 10:30pm, i was greeted with not even a smile or a proper welcome, next thing the rude reception lady couldn't find my reservation so i showed her on my Hotels.com app the number, still didn't believe me and spoke to me like i was some kind of joker off the street trying to get a free night, the young guy who she was working with was better and more compliant, i had to call Hotels.com gold team and it was sorted out after 25 minutes on the phone, my room was in the 14th floor, i opened the door and i was greeted by a room which felt like Cancun Mexico it was at least 27 degrees with no way of turning down the radiator, the air circulating system which doubled up as the aircon looked brand new however it wouldn't work or turn on, next i tried the window, it tilted about half an inch and the opening at the top was so close to the wall that the gap couldn't even get my finger in it. ||The Bathroom was an utter disgrace, the smell of rotten food was gut wrenching i couldn't physically go to the toilet without holding my nose, after all this i tried to call reception, to my suprise the phone also disconnected didn't work no tone at all. being stuck in the 14th floor of Hotel De Prison after a 4 hour solid drive with a meeting at 8am i'd just given up i know i should have gone down stairs, but after the check in i had i knew it was going to be a waste of time and i had no time or the nerves to put up with another argument with them, i tried to sleep but with the heat of the room this was impossible, the breakfast was another comedy show, the coffee was brown water and clearly this 4 star hotel has absolutely no idea what '' Poached eggs'' are as they were dried out along with the scrambled and fried eggs, there was about 11 staff tendering to 8 people and all stood behind the bar doing nothing with the Chefs shouting over them kicking them out of the kitchen. it was like some kind of Comedy show. ||||i have honeslty in all my time i have been a sales director never had such distasteful experience in my life, and thats 4 years of hotels and travelling, how this hotel can even put 4 stars on they're door is beyond me, i have had better service off my ex girlfriend after i came to collect my things from her. ||||the 1 and only good thing about this hotel was free parking. ||||avoid at all costs and stay at a local place where you will be treated properly and not like a...

Breakfast is good although the choice for vegans is very limited. ||||We are in a group of 7 people, and we have 5 rooms booked. When we arrived at the hotel we were in a rush as we needed to go at an event we were attending and our train journey from Prague was delayed. We stood at the reception desk waiting to be acknowledged for checking in. After a 5 minute wait, we politely asked to be checked in as a taxi was waiting for us to bring us to the conference place. ||||A check-in clerk, who we later discovered was the manager, quickly checked us in and takes our passports. She tells us – I’ll give them back to you in 2 hours. We refused to leave our passport as this is a very unsafe practice. She suddenly starts talking in her own language in a very angry tone – and despite our lack of Czech language skills, we could tell she was swearing at us. ||I made her understand that I can tell she is swearing at us and at this point she stops. ||||This was not the only poor service received. Every time we would ask a question at the reception desk it felt like they were annoyed and that they really did not want to speak to us or help us in any way. Really bad attitude thinking that their job is to be helpful to customers. ||||The hotel offers a room service – however despite having a menu most items were not available. We asked for a portion of fries and they said “it comes with chicken”. Being vegan, we obviously did not want the chicken and we asked just for the chips and they refused to provide them, insisting that we had to get the chicken too. Such a poor service. ||||One evening we were at the bar and having a good time with our colleagues over drinks. We notice the bar is about to close so I made my way to the bar to place the last order – the lady tells me the bar is close and she cannot take the order. The bar was actually due to close in 5 minutes – in fact two other guests ordered some wine, which they were given, and the payment was take after the bar was closed. Read moreStay away! Or bring your own el. Heater. Why? 3 nights at Hotel, at floor 16. 3 Degr. C outside during nights!! Clinate control on max heat in Auto-mode. NO heat what so ever! (This is as well off even in Manual ON mode!!) Two persons came to my room 'to help' told me just that "heat in on".... First front desk told heat is not on. However there are NO heat, at all. There are NO airflow/airchange in room at all during normal house of staying at room. Lowlow oxygenlevel in mornings. NO ventilation in toilet, mirrors not usable long time after shower, due to condens and lack of ventilation!! And Managenment pretend it all works. Well, they save money (by not ventlate or heat properly!!) and they are not honest to you as paying guest when confronted. It is SO sad. Have stayed here many times. Next time I will choose another Hotel. Fir sure. The only plus this time was that there where not 10-12 coaches of Asian guests making beakfast a Asian Flee Market... It is NOT ok with ventilation minimizing in hours as well as NOT heat...
