Hostelskippy — Hotel in okres Český Krumlov

Zdenka was the best, friendliest host I've ever had, both in Air bnb and hotels all together. The place is really nice, pretty clean and has the most beautiful view from The balcony since it's right next to the river. What the place might lack in big space it covers up by it's amazing hosts. The name might fool you since this is no ordinary hostel. You'll get a room all to yourself rather than sharing it , all the beds are comfortable and apart from the bathroom you won't notice the other people staying there. On top of all that, the house is actually 200 years old, and although it was renovated it still has a really unique atmosphere. I'd most definitely recommend you to stay at Zdenka at hostel Skippy since it is the liveliest place in Cesky Krumlov!

P.S - if you're lucky you'd also hear Zdenka preforming at the Strojovna Krumlovsky Mlyn (she's absolutely great), and I'm almost 100% sure she'd love to sing with you when staying at...

Stayed in the double room on the top floor for just one night. Our room was very spacious, overlooking the river, with shared bathroom just next to the room. Bathroom was always clean. Location is pretty good, with about 10 minutes walk to one of the main squares. Patio in the back is so cool! Two minor issues : there is no reception, so no way to ask questions or rent towels if you arrive late. The system with handling the keys over to you if they are not there is good though. Also, the wifi did not absolutely work anywhere throughout the hostel. So just count with it not being there. But that's an easy fix. So bring your own towel, and take good shoes, because those cobblestones are everywhere in Cesky Krumlov old town :) Overall -...

I was a little on edge staying here with a 1 year old and 5 year old as I didn't know how they would be with such young children but the lady who greeted us was lovely who we assumed owned the hostel. She showed us places on the map that would be beneficial for us with young children and places to eat that would be good value for money. The room was very cosy and we loved how rustic it all was.
