Hostel Postel — Hotel in okres Český Krumlov

This is one of the best hostel i have stayed. It is located within the old town, in the UNESCO heritage complex (i was not aware of it, at the beginning!) It is also walking distance from bus terminal. ||||I stayed in 6 bed dorm, the room has window open to the private courtyard. It was airy, bright, lots of fresh air in the room. The room also spacious with desk, stools, and lockers. Lots of plugs are available near by the bed. ||Kitchen is cute and well equiped. The dinning room is quite big, good for hang out in the rainy/cold days. Everything was clean, tidy, and well organized!||||There are 2 minors things that bothers me. One is the lack of hooks inside the shower cabins, difficult to bring clothes inside. The shower room is shared and unisex aswell, therefore i think it would be nicer to get dressed/undress inside the shower cabin. The second, shower room and toilet are using movement detection lights. So, there are times lights off when i was in the middle of something! Bit like a scene in horror movie :D||Last but not least, the front desk is nice...

We stayed 3 nights and the hostel went from under occupation to full during that time. When full there are sharing bathroom /shower issues as there are not really enough facilities in either parts of the hostel. Guests in one part have to go throught the kitchen to get to the toilet and shower, while guests in the other part of the building have to share a double shower room,(unless you can get in first and have the whole room to yourself); the solution is to share with a friend. Cesky Krumlov is small so everywhere is within 15 minutes of walking. This hostel is slightly tucked away from the centre but still very close. Quiet at night. Hostel room is cozy and had plenty of spaces to hang your clothes. They even have a clothing rack that you can dry your clothes. Dorm beds are very comfy. Bathrooms are clean. Kitchen is so well equipped that you can make a proper meal. Plenty of tea options. Staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely...
