Great place to get your chimney cake (trndelnik) in the cone shape drizzled with sour raspberries/crashed nuts/sugar/pistashio, filled with any of chocolate/strawberries/pineapples/baked apples/poppy seed jam and then you can add topping - wipped cream or ice cream of your choise. Please, please, please don't miss this opportunity to try this delight while in Prague!!! We got 1 trndelnik sour raspberries drizzled and raspberry sorbet on top, 1 - nuts drizzled with raspberry sorbet, 1 - nuts drizzled, filled with baked apples (which called apple strudel) plus salted caramel ice cream top and last one was not a cone, but just a regular chimney cake shape drizzled with nuts and sugar outside and poppy seeds jam inside. I delinitely recommend to make your own like I did - ask to put it as it is up to your taste even they don't show this option on tge screen. I asked if we can put together strudel filling with salted caramel even its not shown as an option and staff were more than happy to do any options up to your desire. Very grateful for this tasty experience which adding up to happy memories...
Read moreI was the first costumer arriving but I was told they would only open at 10am. It was 9.57am. I waited at the door. At 9.58am a group of other costumers entered through the door and started being served. I looked at the employer and he said to come in. I ordered 1 snickers, 1 chocolate original and 1 original with no sugar. I was served the snickers one almost immediately which looked great. And then I waited around 10 minutes more for the other ones, while other costumers were being served after me. When I asked how long it would take I was told 1 more minute, but nobody acknowledged that other people were being served in front of me that arrived after me. The shop was crowded as other costumers were waiting and there was no organisation from the employers at all it terms of serving. In terms of quality, the dough is good but I had better in other shops around the city. The ice-cream was ok, the chocolate was horrible - it tasted to sugary chocolate which has been sitting in the hit for several hours. The chocolate one went straight to the bin. To be fare it did not worth it. I had it better in...
Read moreI am gonna give it 1 star at least because there are standing 3-4 people who basically seem to hate their job, according to the way how unfriendly they talk to you, they are simply not motivated even to answer your questions.
Paid 100 czk for trdelnik with pistachio, then asked to replace for gluten free, they did not even return exchange. And trdelnik tasted nothing special and even a bit raw, so it just went to garbage. Also no one speaks English even though it’s centre of Prague, the most touristic crowded place
UPD: Sure! There were 3 blond girls , non of them were replying in English, we asked about gluten free trdelnik and they were looking at each other and talking something in Czech language. Non of them were friendly and were replying barely with rock face. I paid 100 czk for pistachio trdelnik and then asked to replace if possible with gluten free since you have a sign over there “each trdelnik can be gluten free” so we thought it would be the same pistachio sprinkled but just gluten free. But it was twice smaller in size and no one explained or returned...
