I had a very difficult experience visiting this restaurant with a group of 38 people. I was in the restaurant before and never had any issues. But our group visit was a disaster. We made an online reservation via Mail which worked great. But upon arrival the issues started. Nobody check the preselected menu, and because we were separated to different table the waiters had a hard time giving each person their ordered dish. A short check at the start would have made things much easier. In addition the staff was completely overwhelmed by the number of people. For a restaurant that claims to have 500 seats a group of 38 shouldn't be that challenging. Some members of our party waited 40 minutes to get thier drinks. Some had to order their preordered dish again, with a waiter claiming the don't have any more salad, but backing down after all on that claim. The most upsetting, I dare to say scam, was the portion size. In comparison to previous visits, the size was clearly reduced. Leaving some of use with a tiny steak, whereas the online pictures clearly showed bigger portions.

All in all a i have to admit that this was a typical tourist trap behavior, talking advantage of...

SCAM WARNING!

It's not everyday someone tries to scam you TWICE in 5 minutes, but here we are.

We ordered 3 beers at 78czk each, for a total of 234czk. When we asked for the bill, the waiter announced us a total of 375czk. Seeing our surprise he told us that 10% tip wasn't included. When we pulled our calculators to show that, tip included, the total should be 258czk, all of a sudden the total became 250czk.

We paid by credit card, at which point the waiter claimed, the signal was bad and we needed to move to the counter. We did, and paid by card there again. On the way home I checked my banking app, and what do you know, both charges went through. Obviously I'm contesting one of them as a scam.

So not only is it a tourist trap, it's a scammy...

Expensive so I would expect better food quality - it was just ok, not worth the price. Really nice restaurant. looks fabulous. Staff was friendly, but only until the question about tip - waiter asked if I would like to add some tip to my card payment - I've refused, as I generally don't tip outside US, as we don't have the tipping culture in Europe and it's artificially forced in many tourist places, I'm against such policy, so I politely tell to the waiter "no sorry, I don't want to add any tip". He just get upset and start arguing with me, that totally ruined the experience. Food is really expensive here so I expect staff is good paid by the owner, they shouldn't have to force tips in such...
