In general the hotel exceeded my expectations. Welcoming was great, not only because they welcomed us with a glass of champagne, but also because they were accommodating enough to let us check in early.

To continue, they brought our luggage upstairs to the room which was a very nice move on their behalf. Moreover, when we entered the room it was thoroughly cleaned and very spacious.

Complimentary bottles of water were in the room, and if you wanted more you could go get more from reception for free. They do not really tell you about this but it was amazing of them to do this.

Housekeeping was amazing. They’d come and clean our room everyday and always leave it spotless. They even made our clothes which as shameful as I am to say, we had thrown all over - not my proudest moment.

Moving on, the bathroom was very good and there was always hot water. It was also nice that they provided shampoos and shower gels of their own making (House of Julius line).

As far as the bed is concerned it was amazing. I don’t think I have ever slept on a better mattress. Even better than the one I have at home. Rest assured I’m going to be emailing them in order to learn what mattress that was!

The only bad thing that we experienced during our stay, which is not necessarily that big of a deal, is that the WiFi wasn’t very fast and that we weren’t able to connect with the TV’s in order to watch Netflix. The TV’s are locked so you cannot download the app and watch, whereas you need to connect your phone and steam it. I informed reception and they told us that they’d send a technician to fix it, but nothing happened. I don’t really mind that they weren’t able to fix it, but I thought it was worth mentioning for future reference.

Breakfast was very good. Even though there was no huge selection as in other hotels, it was satisfactory.

Last but not least, even though check out is normally at 11 am, they were kind enough to let us check out at 1 pm since our room wasn’t booked for the day. It was very accommodating on their behalf. Also a great thanks to the doorman who helped us with our luggage from and to the taxi cub.

To sum up, I highly recommend the hotel as it is very luxurious and the staff very friendly and...

The Julius was a fantastic place to stay and the location is great. You are close enough that most things are in easy walking distance and for those activities that are a bit further away locally transport is within easy reach. Moving on to the hotel itself. I'll start by saying we didn't actually book this hotel as it was out of our price range, but due to an issue with the hotel we had booked we were moved to the Julius. What an incredible stroke of luck. From checking in you knew you were at a hotel that was of a high standard. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The room was huge, with a kitchen area, living area, large bathroom and bedroom. Breakfast offered a good selection and the one evening meal we had at the hotel was excellent. I would especially like to call out the wonderful Parisian barman, Lopes. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Extremely good with customers and caring. On one of the nights we were there one of the other guests had enjoyed the bar a little to much shall we say. We had spent the evening chatting with this guest before going up to our room. We came down to smoke to find Lopes had stayed an hour after the end of his shift to make sure the guest was alright before gently taking him up to his room. Lopes was off the next day but we saw him later in the week. The first thing he did, as he knew we had got on well with the guest, was ask after the health of the gentleman to confirm he was okay. For me this demonstrates staff that are not just doing a job but care about the happiness and wellbeing of the people in their care. And it was the same with other members of staff. Friendly greetings, willingness to help and a smile. Service that goes above and beyond throughout, regardless of if its front of house, cleaning or backroom staff. I would love to stay at the Julius again if the opportunity ever arose. We have a big wedding anniversary in a couple of years and I'm considering going back for that as I can't imagine anywhere else that would make it feel as special. It really is an...

We stayed here for 3 nights during our vacation to Prague and could not be more satisfied! We arranged an airport pickup through the Hotel and we were picked up right on time in a comfortable ride. Our flight got delayed so we got to the Hotel a little after midnight. As soon as we pulled up to the Hotel, a staff member immediately brought out a cart to assist us with our luggage and we were pleasantly surprised with that kind gesture. Check in was smooth and luggage was brought into our room.

The room was FANTASTIC! We had booked the One deluxe one bedroom suite with bathtub and it was super spacious, comfortable and spotless clean. The sofa bed was already laid out and it was super comfortable for my daughter. The room was very quiet and cooling worked well. So much storage shelves with multiple closets and drawers. Bathroom had heated tiles and a heated towel rack! Kitchen was well equipped with a micro, fridge, dishwasher and even a laundry machine! The only thing lacking was a door outside the toilet area in the bathroom. That would allow people to shower or enjoy the bathtub whilst someone is using the toilet.

Breakfast had a great variety of hot and cold items, fresh juicing machine, live omelette station and more. Well worth it.

Location is also great as its in a quieter area away from the hustle bustle of the historic area but still easily walkable. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby the Hotel.

I loved the fresh long flowers in the breakfast area and lobby. The decor of the Hotel is elegant, beautiful and very inviting.

Special shout-out to Denisa who helped us arrange breakfast bags for our 7 AM tour. Those were delivered to our room! Thank you Denisa for your wonderful service!

Huge shoutout to ALL the staff members there. Always a smile on their face, super friendly and helpful and willing to help in any way. I HIGHLY recommend this Hotel to anyone wanting to visit Prague and having a luxury comfortable...
