Hoffa bar — Restaurant in Prague

Our evening at Hoffa Bar was simply enchanting! Nestled in the heart of Prague at Senovážne náměstí 22, this industrial-style gem boasts an extensive array of cocktails, beer, and wine, complemented by tempting bites to indulge in.

As we entered, we were captivated by the spacious and chic interior. However, what truly stole our hearts was the impeccable service, led by the remarkable Michal (or Michael). Despite a bustling crowd of over 50 patrons, Michal effortlessly glided from table to table, ensuring each guest felt cherished and cared for, all while radiating charm and warmth.

I personally expressed my gratitude to Michal for orchestrating such a magical evening. His dedication and attention to detail made our Valentine's Day eve truly memorable. Additionally, kudos to the entire bar staff for their seamless coordination and swift service in pouring drinks, ensuring each sip was perfection.

In summary, our experience at Hoffa Bar was nothing short of extraordinary. Five stars are a mere token of appreciation for the exceptional ambiance, service, and overall experience. We're already counting down the days until our next visit!

I like the location itself, they have a big variety of drinks and the bar looks very modern compared to lots of others in Prague.

Why I give 2 stars was mainly the poor service. We came inside and everywhere were tables with leftovers from guests. At that time included us there were maybe 10-12 guests and it was not busy at all. If you are not able to clean the glasses right away its fine but you could at least store them behind the bar instead of leaving them everywhere on the tables.

Futher, it took quite long for us to get two drinks and the waitress was not really friendly. The cider was nice but I am not a fan of the gimlet on top of the card. When I didn’t give the waitress tip she refused to say goodbye or thank you - which is highly unprofessional to me. I give tip but not to bad service.

The place looks good and the girl in charge does her best, but the waiter making the drinks is terrible. He is ultra slow (10 mintues just to serve a few shots) and more 20 minutes just so make a few "Cubatas" that they call it cocktail buts only the complicated recipe of a glass, ice, coke and rum.

We also tried other cocktails that we regreted from the first taste and were also warm.

For the last round we asked for some cubatas, we waited a lot and asked the girl for the drinks. She asked the waiter and he got angry and served the drinks 99% coke, 1% ice , 0,1% rum.

Until they dont change this waiter, this is a place to avoid. Probably u can order a bottled beer but its not a good place to enjoy good drinks with friends, family or date, as this guy can...
