A Feast Fit for a King (or Queen) in a Historic Bell Tower:

Prague is brimming with captivating restaurants, but Restaurant Zvonice offers an experience unlike any other. Nestled within the Jindřišská Tower, a centuries-old structure that once held Prague's watchmen, Zvonice provides a unique blend of history and delectable cuisine.

Walking into the restaurant is like stepping back in time. The wooden beams and Gothic architecture create a warm and inviting atmosphere, and you can't help but feel the weight of history settling around you. The tower itself dates back to the 15th century, and whispers of its past seem to linger within the thick stone walls.

But the magic of Zvonice extends far beyond its setting. The food itself is a triumph. My partner and I opted for a taste of Czech tradition, with them savoring a succulent roast chicken and me indulging in the hearty wild boar. The boar was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, while the chicken was beautifully seasoned and moist. Our friend, meanwhile, couldn't resist the allure of the lamb shank, and their raving review confirmed it was fall-off-the-bone delicious.

Each dish was accompanied by perfectly complimented sides, and the portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming. We left the table feeling utterly satisfied, having embarked on a culinary journey through Czech cuisine in a truly unforgettable location.

Whether you're a history buff or simply seeking a romantic and unique dining experience, Restaurant Zvonice is a must-visit. Just be sure to make a reservation in advance, as this hidden gem tends to get...

From the moment we stepped into the intimate and cozy setting of this restaurant, I knew we were in for a treat. The warm and inviting ambiance, coupled with the breathtaking views of Prague's skyline, created a truly magical experience. The Zvonice Dinner is undoubtedly one of the best dining experiences I have ever had, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Prague.

The menu was creative and innovative, and the food was prepared to perfection. The presentation of each dish was impressive, and the flavors were out of this world. The attentive service we received from our waiter throughout the meal only added to the overall experience. His knowledge of the menu and wine pairings were exceptional, and he made excellent recommendations that perfectly complemented our meals.

What makes this place truly special is the unique setting in a bell tower, which offers unparalleled panoramic views of the city. It's a truly unforgettable experience that sets it apart from any other restaurant in Prague.

I cannot think of any criticisms or complaints about this place. It exceeded all of my expectations, and I would give it more than five stars if I could. My only suggestion for improvement would be to expand the menu, but that's just me being greedy.

To the owners and staff of Zvonice Dinner, thank you for an exceptional dining experience that we will cherish forever. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Prague, and I can't wait to come back and experience it...

We went there for my birthday as we like to check places to eat in Prague and find best restaurants we like to come back. Unfortunately, this place is 'NO GO' on our list to visit again. We waited over one hour to get food and it was mid of the week, we didn't see many people in there. The food was not good, this is the most disappointing part. We ordered steak and game. Both dishes were additionally too salty or spiced with some strange flavor that didn't match. Plus, I had problems with my stomach afterwards... We left really quickly from there even without ordering the dessert. Our neighbors who sat next to us also were not happy with their dishes plus wine as we heard them complaining. The prices are over the top as for Prague...155 Kc for 0.2 l of water. Other non-alcoholic drinks were in very similar price. Steak was 840 Kc and game around similar price. We don't mind to pay more if it is worth it and we are satisfied with the food. I am just wondering how come they managed to get such good rating on google. Maybe because of the nice old tower (the view is not good either). The waitress was pretty nice and the food presentation on the plate was in general nice. I guess it is just one time off place :) I really don't recommend this place! This is first very low rating I give. There are so many nicer restaurants in Prague to go and this one is not...

I booked this place well in advance for my husband’s 40th birthday celebration, a special occasion that I wanted to make memorable. Before coming to Prague, I researched local restaurants and learned that most menus are very meat-heavy. As I’m vegetarian and my husband is vegan, I made a request in the reservation for two vegetarian options, one with cheese as he occasionally makes exceptions for eggs. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very professional server and offered two complimentary glasses of champagne, which was a nice gesture. However, when we asked about the vegetarian options mentioned in our booking, we were shown one page of a large menu with just two vegetarian dishes — both containing cheese, so none were suitable for my husband. They then provided a vegan menu, but it offered only one option per course. We ended up choosing those, but unfortunately, the food was quite ordinary and not particularly special. Additionally, I had arranged with the lady who took my booking for a birthday cake to be prepared, but it never arrived. The final bill was surprisingly high, even for Prague, and the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations. While the view of the city is lovely, you can enjoy similar views from many other spots. Sadly, aside from that, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.
