Lowkey the atmosphere here is so nice so different that it doesnt even feel like DR. Its so well lit and decorated it feels like you are in some part of Europe or something. While here i tried several different drinks and none of them disappointed me. One of the employees recommended me the "cascara tea" which is an infusion of coffee grounds/pulp, this was my favorite (i love sparkling water and this gave me the same vibe) another dish worth mentioning was the carrot cake. This was THE BEST carrot cake ive tried in Dominican Republic (maybe im missing trying it in some places) but it was crunchy outside but fluffy and warm inside and it was the perfect armount of warm 😭 it was such a palate party for my tastebuds. Amazing. I highly recommend this place to work, or for brunch, its nice, secluded, quiet and the whole vibe its lit 🔥

To be honest I will have to give 3 stars for their wifi policy. I saw a video on tik tok that said this was a great co working space but the WiFi policy is that you get only 1 hour at a time and you have to constantly ask the staff for a new code. That is really annoying. They need to have extra options maybe like a 3 hour or 5 hour option even if they charge a small fee for it but having WiFi that is only valid for 1 hour at time while trying to work from a coffee shop is really annoying and stressful. If you’re coming here to work for long periods of time that requires a constant connection WiFi this is not the place for that unless you don’t mind having to keep reconnecting every hour. But on the flip side the food and atmosphere is really nice.

Recently visited Casa Barista and had a great experience. The ambiance was delightful, creating a great vibe that instantly made me feel comfortable. The staff was friendly and provided good service. The cafe offers a wide variety of food and beverage options, and the cozy seating arrangements added to the overall charm. The food surpassed my expectations, making it a standout choice for a delightful cafe experience. We ordered Squash Cream Bisque - had a slightly smokey flavor than I would have expected and was a bit watery than your average bisque .. tasty though, Falafel Wrap and Veggie Burger - both tasted good. Highly recommend!

The space and food is very nice but the service here (as kind as they are) was terrible every time I came. I was in the hotel upstairs and ended up here three times. The first time the food was very slow to come out (45 min + after ordering) and each time we asked when it was coming they would just say 10-15 min just to blow past that. When the food was brought, it was delicious and we thought it may just be a small hiccup. The second time we came, we ordered lunch, but the waters we ordered never came (but we were still charged for them and requested them after the fact), the beer we ordered never came. Worst of all after we told one of the staff that our lunchmates is allergic to sesame seeds, he insisted there was absolutely no sesame seeds in chips we ordered (despite us visually seeing them on the chips) only for another waiter to tell us 5 minutes later that there absolutely is. (note that our group speaks in pretty solid Spanish so this was very baffling).

Finally, I stopped in one day to pickup pastries to go. When I got to my friend's place, we opened the package to find one for the four was missing.

The service here was consistently a mess and despite how good the food was I realized you need to be VERY clear and INSISTENT, and double check...

Sincerely overpriced coffee! Overpriced food! Way too expensive for what we got. I understand the concept they are trying to achieve but they need to keep working on the flavors. Although service is fast, servers aren’t too kind and they seem moody most of the time. We got the Dominican breakfast and I promised you we couldn’t eat it, the mangú had a horrible taste. I tried several things thinking that it was just what I ordered but no, it wasn’t good, nothing we had was good and in top of that overly priced. The whole milk tasted too strong, the chai had weird spices never tried before in a chai latte, the cappuccino and the latte tasted too acidic. Again I know they are trying to go for a farm to table concept but they really need to check on those flavors, we aren’t picky eaters and this experience...
